Kmart Mirrabooka

What an amazing customer service by the young lad Connor!Been shopping at Mirrbooka Kmart for 20+ years never have I received this kind of superb service.As I was checking out having a hard time scanning my reward card young Connor noticed and came to my rescue, suspending my sale at the self service kiosks and moved me to his sales desk and assisted me there. Made my way out to the exit only to realised they don't have trolleys past 4pm. The lady at the door said I will have to go out and fetch myself a trolly; as we are still conversing there comes Young Connor again on his way to his break, and he kindly offered to carry my shopping with me in the car. I was so amazed at his kindness and level of his service. We conversed and found out he's been working here for almost a year and he loves it, adding that he loves going above and beyond for his customers. Honestly I felt like tipping him even though I don't think that would be appropriate. I just want to appreciate him as a person as well as a valued Mirrabooka Kmart staff I am sure his team leader is proud of how he interacts with customers. I have no doubt he will go far in life with this amazing attitude if he chooses to persue a career in retail.

Love the shop. Cheap bargains and Connor is an incredibly friendly and cheerful young man. Well done Connor, you do an amazing job. Keep up the good work

It's a Kmart. What gives it a 1 star is the self check out system.Shopping there when it's busy means you shop, then get greeted with a long wait to spend to spend your money.If I wanted to be treated like a mechanical apprentice, I'd do a mechanical apprenticeship.These new convenience" systems suck!Bring back face to face checkouts thanks.It's not saving me any money

this young man connor was so helpful when i was shopping. he’s a blessing from god. he needs to be paid higher he always has a smile on this face and a friendly personality

Got some good stuff from here... can enjoy myself with mum when we visit. but one item (ice bucket) back at Christmas we got from here was so poorly made, it just leaked everywhere when we put ice in it causing huge mess on the floor :(

They have a good choice of homewares available at affordable prices.Unfortunately their checkout set up of self serve let's them down drastically. Today I was in a queue of approximately 40 people which is a long queue and wait. In this queue was elderly people with disabilities. They don't offer a separate checkout to cater to these peopleI found that deplorable..

Laurine is amazing x couldn’t find our item so went all the way to the back to get it x appreciate it so much, any other worker just says they don’t have it x

I would give this store half a star if i could Direct to boot is shocking you wait for almost half an hour if not more try calling no one answers. They really need to sort this out

Ordered online for delivery. 5 items out of 6 in the order were supposed to be packed and dispatched in 1 box that was delivered today, from Mirrabooka Kmart store. The 6th item was still awaiting delivery as it’s a larger item.The Kmart label on the box delivered today states parcel 1 of 2, 5 items contained inside however only 4 items were actually inside the box. 1 item was missing altogether from this delivery. Kmart provided no info on what items were supposed to be in what dispatches only that 5 items were meant to be in this box. On contacting Kmart they told me it was an issue with the courier not them and to wait at least a week for box 2 to be delivered and then if I think an item is still missing to contact them then instead, but they confirmed to me that only 1 item was coming in box 2 due for delivery next week, so clearly an item was missing they just didn’t want to assist.I had to explain over and over that an item was missing from the box delivered today and this was a Kmart error not a courier error. Kmart staff told me to contact the courier to ask why I only received 4 and not 5 items in my parcel and they gave me the phone number of the courier. I provided photos of the box label and the contents of the box, clearly indicating an item was missing.After finally getting through (I was at my wits end) and staff understanding that something was missed in my order I was then told Kmart can’t send me the missing item despite it being in stock at Mirrabooka and many other stores. They could have arranged for me to collect the missing item and I would have gladly done that.I asked why Kmart couldn’t provide the missing but paid for item because it was Kmarts error not mine and was just told to go on the website and reorder it again…but they will take a week to refund me.Staff repeatedly communicating they ‘understand’ the customers frustration does not resolve issues and is very patronising when no customer service has been provided at all to try to resolve an issue.Won’t be buying online again, not at all reliable and trying to get a degree of assistance was like pulling teeth.
