We locals in Aberfoyle Park call the Gourmet Butcher the Sausage Champ! Also the meat is probably one of the top 5 best retail meats in SA.Excellent family run business!Rib Eye steaks are delish :-) too.

This review doesnt completely reflect their meats but re. gluten free.. I dont think they even know! & dont bother asking them as staff" do not understand the needs for coeliacs. Plz dont be ignorant

Call me old fashioned but nothing beats the charm of the banter with your local butcher. Let the minions buy their prepacked Ozzi beef from Coles and apple pay the soul less self serve checkout. zzzzzzzzzzzz. So much nicer dealing with a real person who knows their stuff, only sells high quality meat & house made smallgoods & you get a free show from the owner each time. Excellent range of fresh quality meat. Try the house made bacon. In fact try everything. Love your shop John & Bec.

Been several times. Staff very helpful with questions of how much should I get for X amount of people, and different ways of cooking products purchased. Highly recomend
