Marcel did an excellent job re-covering my 2 and 3 seater mid-century lounge, and replacing the seat foam. It's exactly what I had in mind and the craftsmanship is perfect.Marcel was easy to communicate with, and made the whole process very convenient. I didn't need to travel anywhere, rather Marcel came to my apartment (at times that suited me) to bring fabric samples, do measurements, and again to deliver the finished product, also offering to remove the old cushions which I appreciated.Marcel gave thoughtful suggestions without making decisions for me, and was very patient in making sure I was happy with the decision.The final price was exactly as quoted, and was good value compared to other price quotes especially for retro furniture.Thank you Marcel for your fantastic job and excellent service!

Marcel was such a pleasure to work with; he really goes the extra mile both in his workmanship and service. His experience in upholstery made the whole process easy and the finished results are very impressive.The price was reasonable and he stuck with his original quote even though there was extra work and materials that weren't discussed when he gave the quote (he replaced the cushions and spring support, plus he recovered a piano bench seat at no extra cost).I was worried that I would either pick fabric that looked nice on a small swatch but not a whole chair, or picked two fabrics that didn't complement each other. Marcel was able to guide me through the fabric selection resulting in fabrics I'm very happy with. He was also able to give good guidance on the refinishing of the wooden arms and legs of the chairs, which I'd decided to try myself.I fully recommend Marcel for upholstery and I'll happily use him again in the future.

Marcel reupholstered two 20-year old sofas for me - I'm very happy with the result, they look great with more modern detailing and are so comfy with new foam seats. I was worried that cost of reupholstering might not stack up against buying new but Marcel's pricing is very competitive, making this a great sustainable option. From the initial consultation where he helped my choose the covering fabric and the filler for the cushions, to helping sort out the stain and UV resistance treatments through to the pick up and delivery of the chair ahead of schedule. The quality of work that Marcel has delivered is first class and he has resurrected my beaten up wreck of a chair and made it into a piece of furniture that I will treasure for years to come. Superb work! Top notch - just gorgeous upholstery work on my dining room chairs and transforming my oversized sofa chair and ottoman with beautiful craftsmanship -- don't go anywhere else!
