The pharmacy is awful when it comes to returning anything. 2 examples. I bought the wrong pack of cold and flu tablets for my mum, got home jumped back into the car drove back receipt in hand sealed pack went back to the person that served me and it was this huge deal just to swap them. I didn’t even want a refund? Then today (which prompted me to write this i bought a small magnifying torch from the front counter, pulled out of the drive way, saw the button for the light was missing, reversed back went back to the guy that sold it to me and it still took a conversation with the manager to return it. They are AWFUL with returns

Arriving at the counter they asked me blankly to pay an extra $18 saying we were undercharged $18 the last time. I didn't say no however I ask for some receipt or evidence as I was a bit surprised. Then they said they had phoned my husband and he agreed. I say ok, just let me check with him and I pay you. My husband confirmed they had phone him only to tell him we paid to much, the opposite! Then they started to be really rude, were asking my husband if he wanted me to pay (!!!) said he had misunderstood and loudly start to shame me in front of a growing queue saying that customers usually are honest and pay when all I was asking is for them to be professional about it. I paid the extra and they didn't even provide clear record and evidence for the extra money received. They made a mistake the last time and when they phone my husband, they did not apologise but instead were extremely rude and unprofessional.

Constantly overpriced for prescriptions. Collected two standard PBS medications, easily available at any pharmacy and was more than double the price of Chemist Warehouse even for the generic. Pointed this out to the pharmacist on duty and he couldn’t care less. Would rather support my local, but not at double the cost!

I'm new to the area and staff here are friendly and give great advice when seeking medical help. The store also has a vast range of products. Will now be my local pharmacy!

Always get great attention and personal service from the regular pharmacists and helpful staff. Other reviewers have compared prices to Chemist Warehouse. Personally I don’t think you’re comparing apples with apples. If you just want the cheapest you’d go to the place with the best buying power.This is a local, family owned business. Chemist warehouse has 400 outlets and makes up about 50% of the market share. No comparison really.Still for the sake of the exercise I compared my latest purchases (5 prescriptions plus 2 non-prescription) $175 compared to $162. I don’t think that’s too bad for it being local, convenient and friendly.The only thing I have a problem with is this pharmacy removed hand sanitizer for use by customers. The staff wear masks but they don’t see fit to look after the health of their customers. That’s not good enough in a pandemic, especially in a pharmacy!

Steer clear of this place is my advice. Tried to charge me $33 for a single prescription even though it clearly showed that I was on a concession card. Never apologised but eventually redid the paperwork. All the medicines I purchased were more expensive than at my usual chemist The Aussie Pharmacy in Hornsby.

I recently visited the Super Save Chemist and was very impressed by the efficiency and helpfulness of the staff. My regular blood pressure medication '360mg dosage' was unavailable so staff happily offered to ring the Dr to authorise 2 x 180mg doses. I really appreciated the staff going to this trouble which allows me to continue with the Manufacturer of my BP medication which is in short supply atm.
