Great experience and would 100% go back.We had the Chili scramble and Salmon Benedict - both delicious but the Chili scramble is a stand out. It comes with bacon and sucuk on a croissant and was absolutely delicious.Super lovely staff too.Thank you!

I thought this was only a coffee place but had brunch here and it’s so good! Really interesting dishes with wonderful fresh ingredients at a reasonable price. The staff are so lovely too. Definitely recommend!

Order took 15-20 minutes for the coffee, was not busy. Didn't mind waiting for the food. However the eggs were stone cold. We had to give our order to the new waitress 3 times, then again upon leaving so we could be billed. Bill was calculated wrong and we were over charged. Not sure what mines to toast" means. Bank records $54.24 taken."

Can’t make it to Turkish coast? Get yourself a ticket to Mr Mat’s. The owner is super friendly and the food is fresh, delicious and outside the parameters of your standard breakfast menu. Beautiful little cafe in Balaclava.

Turkish style brunch and tea! They have adapted to tea so it is drinkable without adding any sugar to it which is great for someone that doesn’t add sugar to their drinks. You will generally see people in the area holding these pink take away cups of coffee, so obviously the coffee is great. I like what they have done to the place. The staff is great and I really liked my food. It’s very affordable!

Great food and great staff. A key part of our morning routine. We were skeptical on the food but so glad we tried it, the quality is great and they haven’t let us down yet.

We had the veggie medley and lamb skewers. Although presented nicely, they lacked flavours The skewers and sweet potato rostie tasted blend, and the texture of the potato rostie were quite dense.. The portion size could have been a bit bigger for the price.Overall an average experience, despite really great service and amazing axil coffee, the foodwas a bit of a let down.

The food and service at this cafe was amazing! My personal favourite was the chili scrambled eggs. It had the perfect amount of spice and flavour.

A very prettily presented bircher dish which was filling and tasty. My dining companions all had burgers which they pronounced satisfactory but nothing special. As a Turkish cafe it does have dishes that are a little more unique than your typical breakfast fare so it’s probably worth trying something different
