Shocking! Our elderly dog was cut twice on her tail and four times on her body, she was a mess. Seven weeks on, we are still medicating and bandaging the wounds. In addition to the injuries, our cocker spaniel looked like a different breed when done. It appears to be a grooming factory, with little care for quality or compassion. Avoid at all costs!

I have been going to hairy tails for years and was happy. However my 8 month old Maltese X Shitzu has received the worst cut that I have ever seen. He was shaved down one side of his neck and not the other side. His hair was all uneven and generally just a mess. I was charged $92 and unfortunately it only takes 1 bad cut and that’s me done. My poor boy doesn’t even look himself!

Worst experience ever! my missus does a better job grooming my dogs this has left me disappointed and will never come back! waste of money. Originally came here cause me and my partner were to busy to groom them but from the way they turned out will ensure we always groom them ourselves. (Save your money and try another groomer) >:(. i think his name was chen :(

We booked in for a mini-groom. It took them less than 30 minutes (while our dog booked the other day for a hydrodog took one hour). We are appalled in how bad a job was done. Our dog has many small knots all over him (that he didn't have before dropping him there) and a big know in his chest that they told us when we picked him up (which he did have beforehand) - We didn't want to cut it because it would have left a bald patch." I can only describe this experience as appalling. The owner / manager quotes $130 each for my 2 labradoodles. Both well under 18 kg. Upon collecting them the price went up as he said one was over 18 kg. I disputed the price only but ended up paying as I didn’t want ti argue. The manager then refused to give my dogs back and said he needed proof of ownership. I was very distraught and after over 10 mins of his refusal to return my dogs I ended up calling the police.They spoke to him and he returned my dogs. Quite possibly the WORST and most distressing experience for both me and the dogs.

We’ve had grooming done at Hairy Tails twice now and VERY happy with the results. This boy is very squirmy and impossible for me to clip, so I’m very impressed with the outcome from Hairy Tails. Great value with a full groom coming in at under $80. Definitely recommend!

Had a very unfortunate experience with the dog groomers this week. Appalling cut. The ‘hack job’ my dog received has left him with lopsided ears, one side of his face shaved off, tufts of long pieces of hair on his legs, track marks on his body from the clippers &half shaved testicles. I have had to contact other groomers to see if they can at least even out the cut until his hair grows back. Personally I would absolutely not recommend this grooming company.

The best place to get your pups groomed. The staff are truly warmly towards the kids. Highly recommended.
