Oakey Creek Private Retreat
A pleasant spot, a great host (very helpful and friendly), very clean property, very comfy bed, very comfy lounge area, but no table to eat off, and the microwave was near useless and complex. A good fridge and a good 4-burner gas stove. A nice garden area around the cabin. The road in is a dry weather road ONLY, unless you have 4WD.

Very peaceful and relaxing. Great place to unwind and enjoy nature. Cottage very clean, comfortable and appointed.Thanks Gav for all the little extras. We'll be back soon.

Oakey Creek Private Retreat
I would give 6 stars if I could here. Usually places look better in photos than in person. The opposite is true here! This hidden country gem is set in a beautiful garden overlooking a dam, tucked away in the bush, far from anything except nature's creatures. The cottage itself is modern, clean and comfortable....has everything you need -plus more. Gav is a legend of a bloke, super friendly and helpful. Will be staying here again for sure, it's an all-round winner!

Oakey Creek Private Retreat
Such a beautiful, peaceful spot. Gavin was an awesome host and even went and got us pizza for dinner! There was heaps of wood for an awesome fire and lots of birds to listen to. I would highly recommend this as an excellent place to get away from it all.
