I had some difficulty getting warranty service from the hot water installer.However once Sanden got involved directly they have made quick progress with the repairs.The heat pump system is otherwise very quiet and energy efficient.

I installed a Sanden Heat Pump in 2016. I now have an error E124, an entire household with no hot water for 3 weeks and zero assistance from Sanden or any of the Sanden approved installers.The company who installed it don't want to help as they said Sanden are awful post service, which I agree with. Now I am supposed to spend $1100 for a new mother board that may or may not fix the problem. Or fork out another $4000 to get a new pump!I thought Sanden was meant to be a good brand. After checking each individual component, there is no fault with the board.NEVER ever Again.Brisbane location. Don't waste your money or time.

I bought a sanden heat pump hot water system about 4 years ago.The circuit board on my heat pump has failed and my electrician rang sanden for a replacement part however because he is not an agent of sanden they were uninterested in him.I subsequently called an agent of sanden in order to obtain a replacement part but the part is no longer made and the only fix offered was a brand new unit or a second hand unit for the low cost of $3000.I have since bought a different brand hot water system as the benefits of a heat pump are far out weighted by the lack of follow up customer service.Heat pump systems are very expensive and you expect quality for the price you pay. Sanden heat pumps now come with a six year warranty which also raised my expectations of the company. How can they give a six year warranty when they don't have parts to sell or in my opinion care about customer follow up?
