Went to Zephyrs today for breakfast and the breakfast menu says it runs until 11am -at 10:40 after waiting 10 minutes in line to order we were told breakfast menu finished at 10:30 today -no warning. No other menu offered just what is in the display cabinet. Had to go to the back of the line and wait another 10 minutes to order. Food and coffee was ok but there are so many other places to go in this area with better service that I doubt I’ll be back.Such a shame as we loved this place!!

Nice and warm on a cold winters day. Plenty of both vegetarian and meat options. Great coffee and terrific windows to watch the rain over the river. Wonderful in summer. Equally wonderful in winter.

I'm yet another very long customer of this once iconic café that has deteriorated so much since the change of ownership. It's now always dirty where once it was spotless. The toilets are also a disgrace. The food has deteriorated markedly. This morning a simple croissant was stale and sub-standard and the smell of old cooking oil in the kitchen set me to write this review. It is really so sad as the location is to die for. A total disgrace but the owners have no pride in the location as they are raking in the money as it is always busy.

Fantastic location, on the Swan River in Fremantle, generous serves, items offered slightly different than the normal which is very refreshing. Staff friendly and service is great, fast and friendly.

Really love the food and atmosphere at the Zephyr.Have had lunch/coffee/cakes here. All at different times and all delicious. The views also make it the place to be, you can happily sit watching the boats go up and down the river and have a very relaxing afternoon.Right next to the Cafe is also a fun playground for the kids.

In my opinion, this was the most underwhelming, disappointing, over-priced ($15) breakfast I’ve had in.. as long as I can remember. All pre-cooked from what it looked and tasted like: a rasher of bacon, a poached egg that might as well have been hard-boiled, what seemed like a Costco-bulk sausage, a packaged(?) hash brown, a slice of toast = $15No, this isn’t the kind of food or experience I enjoy.

19/4/23Had lunch here. Lovely location but stops there. Food awful. Ordered grilled prawns for $24. Received four on dish plus two slices of dry sour dough bread (no butter) which not only looked unappetising but tasted dreadful. Complained and was offered another dish. Chose fishcakes for $19. Three served with sidesalad. Dry, overcooked and unpleasant. No refund on difference in price offered or given. Asian cuisine over spiced. Absolute waste of money. Will never eat there again and do not recommend, certainly for lunch. Change your chef! And train your staff in common courtesy. Throwing butter on the table when requested is plain rude.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. Great cafe - friendly staff - stunning location, on the banks of the Swan River, next to a wonderful playground for the kids. Superb river views.

This cafe is located at a geographical location that has a natural beach suitable for the kayakers to stop. It is also a stop for cyclists and pedestrians. There is a nice children playground at John Tonkin Reserve just next to this cafe. This is a very good cafe, well decorated, clean and beautiful. The coffee here has a medium body and a well-balanced taste. It was smooth, aromatic, not bitter and not acidic, I enjoyed the hot flat white here. I like the staff here especially their services. Cheers! (2021-08)

Going anywhere on a holiday period is a challenge, but you need to be prepared for it.If you're going to charge extra because it's a public holiday, at least make the service and food better. Waited ages to get our food, and I think I will just stop there.Views were nice, at least.
