Houseproud Cleaning

I was booking in for a regular cleaning service and I honestly don't have anything positive to say about my experience. Please everyone, save your dollars and go with another cleaning company. This company cancelled and changed days and times that we had locked in 4 times. I had told them I had a baby so I can't just change times and wake my son up on demand and leave the house as I was told we can't be home when they are here cleaning. The day of the booked cleaning job was meant to be done, I messaged and just asked if they were still coming as I hadn't heard anything and they said they were running hours late so they weren't going to be there till later, which didn't suit because my son naps at that time so it makes it difficult to be available at any times. I was then offered a day with a none suitable time a week later when i had alreayd been waiting 3 weeks. The communication through out was shocking, I didn't get replies to all my questions regarding the cleaning job, and it was just a back and fourth messy process. They seem to not be able to commit to certain days and times, and something ends up happening and they cancel or change times or days. Which as a single parent, is hard to just change days and times with a baby that naps multiple times a day and has certain feeding needs that need to be done at home. Anyway, save your dollars and go through a more, reliable service.

Houseproud have been doing a weekly clean at our house now for a number of months. We were hesitant to start with a cleaning service but we have never looked back. Yiwen and his wonderful team have changed our lives! The house literally sparkles after they have been, and I could never ever get the house looking like that myself. I spoke to Yiwen about needing to remove the residue of insect spray from all surfaces in my laundry. I sent photos and detailed instructions because it was a complicated situation and we agreed on a price, which was high for one room, but I accepted.The cleaners that were sent were very sweet but when they first arrived they didn't seem to have any idea of what needed to happen. I needed to explain everything all over again, and there were a lot of communication issues. I don't think they understood at all.At first I was happy with their clean, the bleach smell overpowered the smell of insect spray residue. But over the course of the day, the smell returned and I checked surfaces in the laundry to see they had not cleaned it (simply because they did not understand the situation involving the insect spray). The lower parts of the cupboards and other surfaces still had residue on them.I find it quite unprofessional that this company would send cleaners here with no idea about this complex and unique job. They took a huge fee without solving any part of my problem.I sent the above in a message and it was completely ignored, which is why I thought I'd warn others about them.

Yiwen and his team have been awesome - they've been cleaning our place for around 12 months now and we couldn't ask for better service. Yiwen holds customer service as a key priority - always checking up to ensure we're happy, and very accommodating when you need to shift things around (whether that's a change of day or an increase or decrease in the cleaning schedule/roster). Competitively priced too, we highly recommend him and his team - you won't be disappointed. Genuinely!

I called Yiwen as my End of Lease cleaners had let me down. Yiwen reacted promptly and efficiently and within hours had fixed the problem - a real life saver. A good communicator and nice guy. Good price as well. Highly recommended by me!
