Best hash browns I’ve ever tasted! Well seasoned, fluffy potatoes and the perfect, crispy hash brown crunch. Egg and bacon rolls are loaded if that’s what you’re after. Strong coffee, fresh juices. I recommend the watermelon and strawberry juice. Perfectly cooked poached eggs! Friendly and welcoming local cafe if you’re in the Gerroa area. Will come here again!

Fries were too crispy, they could definitely use a shorter frying time. The sandwich flavour was really good, but the proportion of meat / bread was low in my opinion.25$ was a bit pricey IMO.

Nice little spot for a coffee while heading to the beach. Pretty much the only game in town!

Very pricey for the little feed my partner and I got. It was definitely on the healthy side but both our dishes were quite bland. The staff were very friendly and polite.Although they were a little quick to take the order and leave straight after you’ve said your meals, rather then asking if there was anything else. Lovely girls but I think they should definitely take a moment to think about possible social anxiety and just double check that people have definitely finished there orders. Just something to consider.Lovely little spot with a nice view. It was good outside in the sun with optional shade. It’s dog friendly and there was a water bowl there aswell.

I had dinner here on a Friday night, and it was exquisite - a real surprise for such a small, quiet place. It was on par with food from high-end busy metropolitan city centre restaurants, in fact better than most. The coffee the next morning was fabulous as well, creamy and rich and strong, which is exactly how I like my coffee.

I recently dined with friends at the Blue Swimmer and overall had a positive experience. The service was very nice and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere for our meals. The starters were a particular highlight of the meal, with a range of delicious options to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed the flavors and presentation of these dishes, which really set the tone for the rest of the meals. However, we were slightly disappointed with the mussels dish four of us ordered. While the flavour was lovely, the number of mussels was quite small, and the quality poor. It's possible that this was just a one-off issue, but I think it's worth mentioning.Despite this minor issue, I would still recommend the Blue Swimmer for a nice dining experience. The friendly service and tasty starters make it a great option for a night out.

My friends and I went here on a Sunday morning and we were a party of 8. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and fresh! Highly recommend, just across the road from the beach/ lake. Coffee and smoothies were nice too!

Beautiful little restaurant tucked bank of the river Seahaven. The first thing you notice about this place is how friendly the whole team is towards one another and the customers. The menu is well curated with some classics and some outstanding dishes like the ceviche. The reason I didn’t give full marks is that on the day they were more than 3 items we couldn’t order off the menu. Well done guys we will be back.

We first dined here 15 years ago when it was The Seahorse, and trying to make South Coast dining a little more interesting and classier.
I'm delighted to say after a very long break, we found that brief has been built on and improved. The food is superb, with plenty of interesting choices. We shared the ceviche as an entree, which was interesting but needed just a little more zest.
But no issues at all with our mains - the fish tacos were awesome, as was the fisherman's stew. Wonderful, fresh seafood, perfectly cooked, and with great flavours.Serves were huge so we were going to skip dessert, which was disappointing as I wanted to try the halloumi donuts.
As a dessert in a serve of 4, they're a dish to be shared around a table, but the server suggested I could try a kid's serve of one, and it was sensational.Coffee was good, there's a great choice of local and other beers, but the strawberry fizz mocktail was perfect for lunch.Best of all was the service - everyone we dealt with was friendly, knew the entire menu backwards and did everything they could to help. Food was brought out fast, cleared quickly, and as others finished their meals, tables were quickly cleared and sanitised,. The need for gluten free for one person was instantly met with suggested choices and offers to adapt dishes.Due to social distancing you need to book - there's not a lot of tables here to start with and and the required spacing means not that many can be served at any one time inside the restaurant.
But they're adapting by doing takeaways, and also offering coffee, pastries, burgers and fries from a hatch at the front door if you just want something to take down to the beach or park.
A great location and a must visit restaurant if you're on the South Coast
