Tile & Bathroom Place At Albion Park

Went in to the showroom last weekend. Spent about 15 minutes looking around. Was not approached by the lady behind the desk at all, no help or assistance offered.We left thinking; if they don't want to talk to us to get our business, what would they be like if we had a warranty issue?

MASSIVE WARNING!! MAKE SURE YOU READ THIS BEFORE GETTING A RENO FROM THIS COMPANYDO NOT USE THIS PLACE TO GET A BATHROOM RENO.WE'VE HAD THE DEPARTMENT OF FAIR TRADING IN TWICE NOW & OUR BATHROOM HAS TO BE PARTIALLY DEMOLISHED & REBUILT.The Department of Fair Trading building inspector was horrified at the amount of corners that had been cut in the building of our new bathroom. He even picked up things that we didn't notice as we thought it was standard for it to be that way.They do not build to Australian Building standards and leave out crucial building products like water stops in the shower & water stop angles in the doorway to ensure leaks don't occur. The waterproofing was dodgy & not done to standard.Initially the bathroom was great, a stark contrast to our nearly 40 year old bathroom but since completion 20 months ago things have started leaking & tiles cracking due to the poor construction.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------UPDATE 10TH SEPTEMBER 2020!!!The rectification order from Fair Trading expired today & we had got no response from Tile & Bathroom in the 6 weeks since it was issued so naturally we emailed our Fair Trading case manager to advise him of this.He immediately got in contact with Tile & Bathroom & they lied to him & claimed that they had in fact contacted us & we told them that we wanted it done in October when the weather warms up.This was an absolute lie and Fair Trading agreed that they more than likely hadn't been in contact & fabricated the story about us wanting it done in October.Next minute I get a text message from one of the guys at Tile & Bathroom to say that they want to come on Monday & start work. Once again we are leaving it with Fair Trading as we have been advised to.------------------------------------------------------------------------------Now we have to go through the process all over again and unfortunately it's this mob that's going to build it again.Anyone who has had a recent reno, please, please keep an eye out for problems that may arise & contact the Department of Fair Trading as the chances are you probably won't get any response from the Tile & Bathroom place.It was only when we said we were bringing in Fair Trading that they responded but we decided to leave it up to Fair Trading to determine the outcome.So glad we did because we had no idea of the shoddy work that had been done.You have been warned!!!

After visiting the showroom last week we walked out knowing exactly what we wanted and needed. Very helpful and attentive staff. Thank you for your assistance. The tile, bath, vanity and tap wares are abundant. They also do free quotes. They do the bathroom renovations for you. We are looking forward to our new bathroom

I just love my new bathroom renovated by Tile & Bathroom Place at Albion Park. From the quote stage with Vic to the selection of products with Alisha, who was very informative and helpful, it was smooth sailing. The guys who did the work, Paul, Joel, Treh and Nick were very professional, neat and tidy and took great care. I would highly recommend these guys. Great work!

Tile & Bathroom Place just completed a full Bathroom reno for us including a full strip out.A big thanks to everyone who worked on it, quality items installed by skilled trades.It is our only bathroom so from start to finish in 8 working days was very appreciated.Thanks to the whole team, we are very happy with the end result, it's perfect.Scott & Sonya.

WARNING - if your considering using this place for a bathroom renovation please reconsider , I was unlucky enough to pick them to do my bathroom renovation and there ended up being more things wrong with my bathroom than there is right , disgusting job. Too many things wrong to list , what should have been a pleasant experience ended up a disaster I have to look at every day , you shouldn’t have to call back to get things ‘fixed’ , they should have been done right the first time!!!!!! Or is that too much to ask??? Plumbing still leaks , after being looked at after the bathroom ‘completed’ , 2 different plumbers , one re initial job, second one to rectify leak , but it STILL leaks , the drainage cover grill that sits on bathroom floor comes out if you step on it , the exhaust fan doesn’t work properly even when window fully open to aid in withdrawing the steam , the grout in the tiles is inconsistent re the appearance, in some places it likes look white little stones embedded between the tiles , the list just goes on , complete regret picking this place , wish I could turn back the hands of time and picked a different place to do my bathroom , BIG THUMBS X 2 down re this business.

What a gem of a find! The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Their prices were also reasonable.I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re looking at renovating your bathroom.

Very happy to find a place that ..did it all" so to speak. selected the tiles etc and very happy with what I picked from the store. Then had Vic come around to quote...well

I honestly could not believe the way my husband and I were treated when we came in the other month. We had questions and Ray made us feel like a massive inconvenience as he answered them, giving us one word answers and offering no alternatives. As we apologised for daring to have a few questions, he demonstrated very poor social etiquette and customer service. When we were looking at 1800mm vanities, he offered up one brand, which we already knew would cost $4400. When we politely said that, we were very rudely told “that is what you’re going to pay” and offered no alternative yet again. I wish we’d walked out at that, but we bought the toilets that we wanted. They were quick to come in and the man that we dealt with upon pick up was very nice and helpful.We found our 1800mm vanities at Highgrove for $2000, so the rudely relayed message wasn’t even correct.

Very disappointed, I waited for a 7.30 appointment this morning for a quote and no one came.I called the store at 8.30 and the consultant looked high and low and I was told that the only quote today was at 10.30.I asked her to check last week or next week as I thought it may have been my error.After about 5 minutes of searching she found my info in a diary?She said someone had tried to call to postpone/move???Poor excuse I said.......... I said with a mobile phone no one misses a call.I felt for the consultant as she was so apologetic for the error.Very disappointed as I waited 4 weeks for someone to come and quote.
