Beautiful place to bring the family for a picnic. Lots of shade areas, kids water park on the board walk. Man made inland beach, huge skate park, so much to do to keep you entertained for the whole day.

Beautiful, any time of the day, in any weather.Great for family picnics, get togethers, BBQs. Play areas for kids. Plenty of space.Also great for couples and individuals who just want to get away.

Enjoyed the New Moon here last night. Always beautiful enjoying the evening on the Esplanade. However, if you're prone to midges (like me) avoid the dusk time as they're out in full force. ;)

Nice place for walking, skating cycling or even scooting around. There is a free public pool lots of free BBQ areas volley ball and many more things to do very close to the hospital area. Plenty of places to park your car plus there are lots of areas to do your exercise with the equipments on the esplanade. Very breezy area so enjoy the day and let yourself be stress free.

Loved the area but the only thing I would say is there is not enough tables to be able to sit at to eat.
