Salvos Stores Stones Corner

My husband had a fall on the stairs leading into the store and came into store to find me . He was bleeding on his arms ands face - said they couldn’t help him and told him to leave the store . They certainly were no help. If it wasn’t for the nice lady that saw him fall he wouldn’t have been okay. That’s why they get a 1 - no common sense and no compassion. I put my books back that I was going to buy when that happened. We will never go into another Salvos store

Super rude. Wouldn’t keep a painting I’d already paid for behind the counter until I collected in an hour as I was on my push bike. Had to walk for hours because of this.

Unfortunately not good experiences for several visits now, including entering the shop at exactly 16:42 and being told by the older lady there that they’re closing up as soon as I walked in - closing time is supposed to be 5pm - so I was told not to be long. Of course I would understand this if it was 16:55 and I am always respectful of closing times of businesses and would not want to hold the staff up, but it was said quite rudely and it wasn’t the first time I’d gotten this impression of this lady. Anyway, the store is overpriced compared to the other shops in stones corner, go to lifeline the staff are always so friendly and a great selection of all sorts of stuff!

Terri was really nice and I asked about how they usually do there donations luckily they still had space and where able to take my bags full of clothes. The staff was happy I asked about donating as people keep coming in with stuff when there full so if you wanna donate call up or talk to the lovely ladies there :) Merry Christmas!

Love this shop! Always has quality items and loads of choice. It's nicely set up and the staff are lovely. I've bought all my dresses for special events for the past 3 years from this place and just picked up an adorable play suit today for $12.

Hey, the young guy with glasses is a very rude Individual. He has been there for years and i have ignored him yet he should be removed from interacting with public as I understand he is borderline down syndrome yet that is not the Pu lics problem nor should rudeness be tolerated. The elderly lady who has run the place for a long time is happy to ignore her staff being rude and is happy to back them., him. . I don't understand this as it is a charity shop. Cheap books is the only bonus to this store that's if you are happy to be treated rudely by the manager and her rude staff members . Never again.

Everything is so well organized there. The store looks like a boutique luxury store with the nice scent and cleanliness of the store. There weren't as many items as I would like to see but it was a very nice experience to browse around in the shop.

WORST SHOP. So expensive and rude staff.There was this Chinese tea cup set for sale. There were around 8 cups, 4 plates, 4 spoons and a stovetop tea kettle and all of these were individually priced. Why??It’s a set. The guy behind the counter said that’s how they sell them, and it’s not a set when it clearly is.This is given to the shop for FREE from the public to help out 1. Salvos and 2 the public? Yet they overprice absolutely anything and everything they get their hands on… once again, FOR FREE. So disappointing.

Salvation Army Op Shop is more clean and tidy than Vinnie's stores. First time I have been in a Salvation Army Op Shop and I was amazed. Clothings are seperated in colours. Black colours are on one side, colourful ones on different side. I couldn't find much clothes for me as man side but wife found a lot of things for her. It's cool air-conditioned inside and very bright with cool lights. There are a lot of items for household chairs & sofa & side tables. Must visit often for different variety of products.

They have a great variety of items, especially items for house. The clothes are nice too, but I noticed a considerable increase in price. Some of them cost as same as new ones. Staff are very friendly
