Burke & Wills Menindee Motel
I stayed here for 2 weeks. It’s very clean and well maintained. It has all the amenities I needed, and most importantly a clean bed with crispy bed sheets. It’s located right opposite the pub, and a short walk to the supermarket. You can see the stars at night.

My son, grandson and I stayed for 4 nights this Christmas at the motel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Comfortable beds, very clean, a great verandah to sit on, a good bbq area and just across the road from the pub. A good motel for families. Darryl is a great host and couldn't do enough for us. Loved it. We will return. Thanks Darryl. Fe, Dave and James.

Good older style room. Spacious, spotless, toaster, kettle and microwave, . A good addition would be wine glasses and a hairdryer please!

Good place for an overnight stay. Room was comfortable. Had a nice meal at Maidens Hotel, drove along the Darling River, saw the Main Weir and Lakes, and saw information about Burke and Wills who had stayed at Maidens Hotel on their expedition.

There is a story of an expedition called Coop Leak" who tried to traverse Australia in 1860. There was a hotel in this Menindi where the expedition stayed and it still remained. Inspired by reading "Cooper's Creek"

An older motel but it’s comfortable and friendly. Conveniently located over the road from the pub . Wifi is available but slow . I think it was $140pn for 2.There aren’t many options in the town and this motel would be the pick for its location. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice for an overnight stop. Clean room, bed not bad but showing age. Friendly service.Not a lot to do in Menindee but river drive worth exploring, especially around sunset - Train comes through once a week each way.Maidens Hotel is just across the road, and is one of the only places to eat in Menindee, has good pub meals.

Comfortable, cosy & clean motel with super friendly staff. Good wifi, fridge, air con, complimentary box of spring water, and big TV in the rooms.Stayed here for a night with film crew & panel of ecological lawyers while shooting a documentary about the Darling River & Menindee Lakes.All of us enjoyed our stay, thank you Darryl for the excellent service and your generosity. Burke & Wills Menindee Motel
