Pettman Campsite

Excellent picturesque site with stunning plants and wildlife. Great for a free campsite!We arrived 4pm on a Tuesday during spring and nabbed the second last spot of about 8 spots. A handful of people came and went without staying overnight, probably to go fishing. There were plenty of well behaved dogs. It looks like an awesome spot for good dogs.The toilets are almost full and more smelly than most long drop toilets I have used. Take your own toilet paper. Also avoid using the tank water to wash your hands. When I used it, there was barely any water in there and it was extremely smelly.The site was accessible on a dry day by our 2WD Toyota Hiace. There was also a station wagon there. Most cars would be fine on a dry day, but there were a few iffy sections of road that would go extremely muddy on a wet day.Overall, I recommend this spot. I will revisit if I am in the area.

Came here on 01/22 to the campsite but whole campsite is under water so not possible to camp here. However access to the beach is available Nice clean and quiet. also ok fishing spot.

Great place, be awhere no bookings required so could be very busy ,beautiful beach that stretches forever, great fishing, has a toilet which is all you need.

Fairly nice camp site with a drop toilet. Only unfortunate thing is the rubbish that's been left behind but other campers

Excellent camp grounds, clean and well maintained. Gorgeous beach short walk from campsite. Heaps of wildlife. Limited phone reception. Quiet in off season. Toilet ok.. take a peg!

Beautiful spot, but way too many people camping here even camped in the parking bays, but hey if you don't mind crowded camp grounds all is good. Beautiful clean beach

We love this place. It's a pity that far away about home.
