Looksmart Alterations

Went in to get suit paints taken up and in for a wedding, paid $100 for the service picked up the day before the wedding and they were still way too big they fell down when i put them on, she blamed me for losing weight. anyway i asked for my money back as i had to go out and buy different pants last minute, she wouldn’t have that and said that she could fix them. 20 minutes later they were done, it was obvious she rushed and they ended up looking worse than before. Tried emailing to get a resolution but no response, don’t waste your time and money.

I had taken my jumper to get patches sewn onto it, they told me get material and we can do it. 3rd time luck because i was being picky about the stitching if it was done correctly the first time I would not have an issue.. also the lady stated to my partner please do not bring this back as it has been trouble.. well do it properly the first time and it wouldn't be an issue..

Everyone was really accommodating and extremely lovely! Cannot be happier! Highly recommend

If you would like to be yelled at and verbally abused this is the place for you.Served by the rudest old lady. When stating the price of the same alteration had doubled in price in a year, I was told to come back and speak to a manager. When I said I work full time and cannot make it during the week (when only the manager works), I was told it was not her problem.I asked for photos of the previous alternation (which I had brought in) to be taken and passed to the manager and for her to call me, I was told by this rude lady that she would not use her phone for business purposes and again this was not her problem, it was mine.

A few months ago I took my wedding dress to look smart alterations Shellharbour.I paid almost $500 just to have it taken up at the bottom. (Which only after getting it done did I find out is absolutely ridiculous for what actually had to be done). Was quoted by 4 different shops afterwards on what they would have charged and it was nothing more than $300.To add to the disappointment when I picked my dress up I wasn’t offered to try it on.So when I got home and found the dress was covered in black pieces of material and had chalk stains on it (which haven’t come out). I was absolutely dumbfounded how somebody could hand a wedding dress back in that state.!Would absolutely never recommend this store to anyone! Especially for wedding dresses!

I visited Shellharbour Looksmart Alterations on many occasions now to have My suit for Illawarras Friendly Neighbourhood Spidey Altered and adjusted.Tuba made me feel comfortable and welcome and did an amazing job with custom designing a way for My mask to fit around my neck better.I've been back a few times since and trust her and the team with my suits from here on.Great team. Great store. Thankyou

My father told me about this place and they’re absolutely amazing! Such a professional and kind lady that hemmed a dress for me. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

I had my work pants hemmed here and within 5 weeks they started to come undone, the service was great when I dropped them off to get hemmed. However, when I returned to explain that my work pants hem had come undone, the attitude had changed, and was told rudely that it was the fabric of the pants and she would need to charge me to get them re-done. I was not happy with this as I still had my receipt and this has never happened to me before. They fixed them FOC, however the way I was spoken to I will not be returning.

I can't believe I had to add a star to make a review but doesn't deserve one at all. On the hardest day of my family's life. My mother and sister went to pick up a dress for my sister's funeral which they knew about, and was greeted by an unprofessional lady who was rude and obnoxious. How you are still in business is beyond me. I certainly will be telling everyone I know to take their business elsewhere

Was very rudely spoken to by the lady here when I went to pick up an item for my daughter. She virtually told me off for not having a docket, would not try to help just kept on berating me until I walked off while she was still at it.
