Greycroft Boarding Cattery

My two cats were well looked after and enjoyed their stay. I will be taking them for another visit in April for a few days while I have a few days off.

We have boarded our two cats since they were just out of kittenhood at Greycroft on several occasions now and feel confident each time we leave our pets with John and Sue that they will not only be looked after exactly how we want in terms of their food and sleeping but that they will be cared for with great affection. We appreciate the roomy accommodation, that it is 100% safe and especially that the boys enjoy lots of playtime daily in the huge airy enclosure. I can’t speak more highly about a cattery and if Greycroft could take our three dogs I wouldn’t hesitate to board them here too when we’re travelling. John sends us photos of the cats when we’re away with funny little notes about what they’ve been up to. This is all about kindness and genuine love for animals. Pricing is reasonable and I am grateful for how careful John is with ensuring all his guests are up to date on their vaccinations, worming, etc. I’ve recommended this cattery to many people and will continue to do so with confidence. We board our much loved Lilly here when we head interstate. We choose Greycroft due to the size of the enclosures and the outdoor area she could access after inspecting several other cateries. The owner genuinely cared for our cat , when we pick her up she is always relaxed and comfortable.

I have taken my cat here a few times now, one time for 7 weeks and 2 weeks each the other two times. The owners of this cattery love animals and have great knowledge about cats, and I can rest assure that my cat is in very good hands. The cat was kept very comfortable, I believe it had a heated mat and was regularly let out into a larger area to roam around by herself. I have no worries at all when my cat is here I know if she got sick they would notice the signs before I could and take the right steps to help her. It is great to be able to go away and not have to worry about your pet, so you can enjoy your holiday. Money well spent!! :)

I wont take my cat anywhere else when I go away. The people who run this place take excellent care of cats. The guy who runs this has great credentials and is very well respected in the animal world. They ensure all cats brought to the cattery have a vaccination certificate, so I know my cat is very unlikely to pick up any sickness from other cats. For some weird reason I had trouble getting my cat to leave when I picked her up. I could tell she was very happy there. I have no hesitation what soever in recommending this place to take your cat to if it needs a home while you are away.

One of the reviews by Michelle Kendall is very disappointing. According to our records we have not had a cat from someone of this name. We will not take cats without vaccinations and some people get upset about this. We have many regular customers who have been with us for years and keep returning. Our building was custom built 6 years' ago, is well lit and is fully air conditioned with heated beds for the winter. There is a spacious, fully enclosed outdoor area, large two-story compartments and all cats that stay spend time each day in the office play area. The cats were removed when the fire warning came 18 months ago and were all taken in their crates to a safe location - this can be verified. Our drive is not a goat track but a solid gravel drive but can get a bit bumpy with the traffic coming and going. We love the cats as many of our regulars will attest. The good reviews below are genuine.

This cattery is a beautiful place. John and Sue care for the cats like they are their own.They are true animal lovers and I know because they are my parents. I have been brought up to treat my animals as part of my family as they always have done.When the piney fires hit all of the cats at mum and dads cattery were evacuated to my aunties house and all of the dogs came to my house. We as a family pitched in to make sure all of our clients pets were absolutely safe in case the fire came through my mum and dads cattery. We were very lucky it came close, it remained safe. We did not return any of the pets until it was absolutely confirmed by emergency management services to be absolutely safe.I am a registered nurse who is completeing my masters and doctorate in emergency management.So your pets are always safe with our family business love you mum and dad and the family values you have installed.

Have had our two cats there a number of times over the years. Highly recommend.
