The worst experience at a mechanic in Australia !!! Bad communication and public attention !!!Took our car down to LMF Mechanical (we waited 2 weeks to the appointment). After 3 days, they called us and said that the car was ready to pick up at 17.30. When we got there they said that the car wasn’t ready (basically they didn't touch it) and promised they would fix everything in the next few days. So, we had to walk back home in the dark, that was very annoying.After waiting 1 week and calling them many times for updates, they said that the car was ready to pick up. But when we got there they didn't fix everything we needed and their excuse was that they didn't have time and offered us another appoiment !!!It was a waste of time and money !!!!!

Being new to town, it was a bit of a gamble knowing who to trust to get the Ute fixed. A work mate recommended LMF Mechanical. After a shaky start, due to staff shortages, and being a fairly big job, removing the transmission and replacing a leaking bearing, the job was completed. I would definitely recommend and will continue to use LFM Mechanical. The job was done well and the price acceptable. Thank you Lex and Misty. Murray Cole

Rude, arrogant and overpriced, our car was making a knocking sound in the front end, so we dropped it in and were told it was the front suspension struts, we were quoted just over $400 for parts, all good, no problem, until the work was done and they charged us 5 hours labour for a job that would barely take 2, and they broke the latch for the glovebox, even though nobody should have needed to access the glovebox in the first place, and denied it completely. Took that on the chin and shortly after we discovered the car was still knocking, so we took it back and were then told it was the front lower ball joint, LMF went for the most expensive part they could possibly find and claimed it was the only part they could get from Brisbane, I contacted the store that supplies them (after discussing with LMF) and was told they had a much more affordable part in Toowoomba, so I called LMF to tell them the great news, only to be told they will not order the part unless it is paid for in advance, then they told me that they simply don't want to do the work (I'm assuming because I found a cheaper option and they didn't like it), then very rudely told me come pick up your car". Very unprofessional

We are holidaying in our caravan, these were the only people who offered to help out of 8 phone calls. Christmas is saved, Thank you. Champane is chilling. Thank goodness my hubby fixed it .

Shaun and Lex - thank you for helping a couple of old travellers with our overheating issues and for the repairs you performed - you went above and beyond - your knowledge and assistance to us was exemplary and we are thankful for the assistance - cheers pete and kym

Booked in for roadworthy didn’t answer my calls as they said it would be ready but ignored me for weeks until it was. and then they didn’t even fix the problem it had waiting in store a few hours for it to be fixed for then to be told it was broken. And then still be charged for it as it was fixed incredibly haha didn’t bother arguing as it would’ve been a waste of time. Wasted my time and money
