Underground Palm Cove
We Stopped at the Underground for breakfast; this is in a great location on the esplanade at Palm cove. Lovely views and the service was personable and prompt.We were greeted in such a friendly manner that I thought we had previously met. The decking is protected from the sun and rain while offering great views, and the inside is cozy with an eclectic decor.Breakfast was generous with fresh ingredients.Will be heading back to try dinner next

Very friendly service and really good food. We got an excellent place close to the street. We mustn't wait too long for breakfast although we came late at 10 am. We'll come back. We recommend this place.

Delicious food and beautiful views. My fiance and I visited for lunch and ordered nachos and a bacon burger. We were both very satisfied with the food, speed and overall service at the Underground. The staff were friendly and attentive despite the business of the restaurant

We stopped in for a late lunch with our family of 5 last week.The food and service was just incredible. A Super friendly family run business and the quality of the food was amazing. Cant wait to return next time were in town.

This place is phenomenal! The staff are so accommodating, friendly and very knowledgeable. Food and drinks were just perfect. I HIGHLY recommend you stop in at this restaurant and see for yourself just how great it is.Thank you to all who served us today and made our visit very memorable. We will be back before the end of our holiday!

The Korean chicken was ok, a little too ‘orange’ tasting for my liking & the rice was a bit moist. The Margherita pizza was below average but staff were nice & the location is beautiful.

Great place for breakfast! We come here every time we stay in Palm Cove. Excellent food and the coffee is the best I've had anywhere, including Melbourne & it's Cafe Culture! Maya and Jack are first class hosts and super friendly. Highly Recommended!!

The quality of the breakfast was below par. We ordered Fried eggs on sourdough toast.The eggs were fine but the sourdough was not good. It tasted like white toast from supermarket and doughy.We ordered extra sides of sautéed spinach and hash brown. The supposedly sautéed spinach which they changed $4 for looked like ‘fresh’ leaves that have already wilted and uncooked! The hash brown tasted fine though.The coffee did have a good flavour when they got it right.

Got brunch here today.We annoyingly arrived 30 minutes before our booking time to see if they could seat us and luckily they could.I got the egg on toast with avo and beetroot hommus, and added a hashbrown. Really impressed by the quantity of avocado given with this dish. Many restaurants are stingey but there was plenty here. The beetroot hommus was incredible and the feta worked well. The hashbrown I added was so crispy and really nice.My only issue was the egg was overcooked. I personally didn't mind too much, it was still delicious.My partner got the french toast. He said the meal was delicious, however the toast was served with a berry compote and a tropical sorbet, which didn't work. He thought a vanilla or berry ice cream/sorbet would have worked better. He also said there wasn't enough maple syrup, and would have liked it to be on the side so you can add however much you'd like to it.The coffee was good. Just nice, nothing special.We didn't find the staff to be too friendly. They were fine and definitely not rude, but not super approachable.The tables were nicely decorated and the greenery wrapped around the pole in the middle was really asthetic.Menu out the front which is handy.When its raining they have blinds that they close which shields the customers so that is great.Decent prices, breakfast was great and I would come back here despite the few small complaints.
