Tatura Country Motel

Well presented room extremely clean and comfortable would recommend to anyone needing accommodation in Tatura this would be the placeNew owners doing up the place and the standard of effort is of high quality

We stay here a couple of times a year, while we visit family. It's a lovely quiet clean motel.Yesterday it was 38 and we were hot and miserable on arrival. The air con was already on in our room, which made us feel very welcomed.The rooms are clean, and Linda brought clean cutlery and crockery so we could have breakfast in the morning (there's a toaster, kettle, microwave, and fridge).The shower has been updated with new tiles, and a water-efficient shower head that has LED lights in it. Blue when the water is cold and red when it's hot!

The owners have started to renovate the property, which was pleasing to see. However, unfortunately, the rooms are very poorly insulated… I heard road noise from the main road all night, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep! I could also hear everything from the neighbouring room, including the toilet which seemed to run all night! I was passing by to Sydney and this made it so difficult to relax and unwind, which was such a shame!!!I understand this motel is a regional property, but the owners need to seriously invest in decent Wi-Fi, I wasn’t even able to send an email!

BEing the only motel in town, the location is really good. But the staff were so rude & incompetant. I was in Tat doing some contract work at Tat Milk which has been booked in since last year and somehow the guy on reception lost my booking. I was left waiting for the guy to try & find it. Not happy. I’m a pretty down 2 earth bloke and ive never been treated so rudly.

Stayed in the Family room overnight. Room felt clean and fresh. Bedsheets and room very clean. Bathroom & shower not a spec of dust or dirt. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended

Very comfortable motel with amazing hosts. Easy to find, family friendly and very central for exploring the region. Rooms are well equipped, great hot showers and easy parking. All you need to bring is yourself . Affordable accommodation at its best.

Clean and neat, comfy beds and great facilities particularly for the price. Super friendly owner. Great location just down the main road from shops and a quick easy drive to the bigger towns in the area.

Positives:- As previous reviewers have stated, there has been some renovation works at the hotel.- The location, which was important to myself and my husband, was also very satisfactory. We were visiting Tatura to visit my elderly parents in the Myola nursing home (only a 5 minute drive away, which was very convenient)Negatives:- Unfortunately, the hotel owners have opted for quantity over quality with the renovations and they are simply “cheap” and “tacky”.- The bed linen was not much better, it was worn through in places and we even noticed pet hair!Unfortunately, I am hesitant to recommend this property to other travellers and would much prefer to stay in Shepparton next time and just drive the 20 minutes into Tatura.

Stayed 3 nights over Tatura Cup weekend, 6 of us 3 rooms. From the moment we checked in Kaan and Linda couldn't do enough for us. Offered to drive us to races, gave us information about the area and town. Great country Motel with very clean comfortable rooms and fantastic hosts. Recommend highly.

It was a beautiful stay, the rooms were clean and tidy, the owners are so friendly and welcoming, even other travellers were so friendly too. We didn't get to see the owner's when we checked out as they welcomed a beautiful baby boy during our overnight stay. We got a phone call the following day to ensure everything was well with our stay and they were so apologetic for not being there when we checked out. That's Fantastic service!
