Friendly barber that does a great and accurate haircut. I like the attention to detail - trimming the eyebrows I always forget about and the hot towel. The ability to book an appointment is very handy and makes it much easier to fit in a haircut around a busy work day.

Really convenient location and reasonable price for the area ($40 for a zero fade at the time of writing). Needed a quick haircut but didn't have time to go to my normal barber - you can definitely trust these guys with your hair. They are super professional and made sure I was looked after.

Just went here due to the great reviews, I requested Matt but not sure if it was him due to the guy not introducing himself when I arrived. It's a tiny place inside the train station. Friendliness, first time here and when I arrived I remarked to break the ice that it was tricky to find (being inside the station), silence. The cut was ok, but the problem is that the hygiene is reallty really bad. Work stations are full of hair, filthy tools on the stations full of the previous customer's hair and other stuff, and cleaning of clippers and scissors amounts to a couple swipes with a brush. No water, no disinfecting, nothing. Did not ask if I wanted my hair washed before the cut either. I should've walked out but it's a hard thing to do mid-cut. I was really uncomfortable, no idea how this place has such high ratings, and really regret going.

Very happy with the haircut and the service. Guys there are really friendly and I didn't need to go into too much detail to explain what I wanted.

Matt is easily the best barber I’ve been to in the city. He has great attention to detail, he takes his time and always delivers a great cut. You can book an appointment online so you’re not left waiting in line. I have been a repeat customer for many months and I have never had a bad experience!

Bossman and his staff consistently provide the best haircuts I’ve had in years. As far as I’m concerned there is no better hairdresser in Wynyard. High quality cuts, top notch customer service and an attention to detail that’s second to none. Cannot recommend highly enough

Outstanding haircut from here and a very good price for it. Very friendly service and expertise. Would recommend opting in to the razor as the barber has the expertise to give a really clean cut with it.

I have been to Men's Cuts to see the wonderful Matt for a haircut 2 times now. Both times, Matt and his team have been incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment I step in the door. Matt has always given me the cut I ask for whilst also providing professional input to ensure I leave happy with the outcome. I always enjoy our chats as well as Matt is very personable.I would recommend Matt and his team to anyone who is in need of a trim, a new style or just a warm environment to hang out.
