This is perfect place to do picnics with kids and family. So shame it was closed when we were there. But we had a short walk around. I will definitely come back. Can't be missed for kids.

Awesome spot. The kids love it. Heaps of areas to sit, heaps of shade. Pool is massive, which means everyone gets space. Only issue is; the water smelt very chlorinated. The coast path is great for a walk or run. Nice and accessible to Redcliffe shops and cafes. Heaps of playgrounds in the area.

This place is similar to the southbank beach in a lot of ways. Its not too bad for a family gathering and most of the days its quite packed. If you are not sure about coming here then come and see. Theres a beach right next to it. We went swimming in the beach because the current wasnt strong during the day.

We had a lovely time at this lagoon as a family. The lagoon is spacious. The deepest part is 1,50 meter which makes it too deep for me (and my kids) to spend. But the average adult is taller than me. There's an island section in the middle where my kids like to climb on, together with other kids. There's also a separate toddler area and the lagoon is next to a playground. There are a few covered seating areas, next to the barbie facilities. You also find toilets and outdoor showers. We appreciated the small food truck next to the lagoon. And we spotted 3 lifeguards, for those who find this important to know. The pool itself looked clean. The fake grass doesn't. It's not very dirty, but I preferred walking on it with my thongs/jandals/flip flops on. Therefore the 4 star. There's free parking closeby.

Great place to swim in open sea. Only place in Brisbane. Best foreshore in Brisbane

Settlement Cove Lagoon
Gets very busy during the summer months, and is a beautiful place for a swim with sea views across the path. The lagoon has a few features for all age groups, including a wading pool for toddlers and several fountains. Toilet facilities are nearby, alongside a playground, BBQ area, wheelchair access and plenty of benches and seating. Definitely worth getting here early as it gets busy during peak seasons and hours.

Lagoon Leisure!Had a great morning swim at Settlement Cove Lagoon, this place is amazing, kids were so excited upon seeing the lagoon and enjoyed the whole time. There were food stalls set up close public toilets available and playground for those non-swimmers. I would come back on a heart beat, love and fully recommend.

Great family picnic and play area built around an artificial lagoon. There are bbqs, pavilions, picnic areas, toilets and swimming with lifeguards. There is also a shaded playground with swings and a 'spaceship' as well and a sandpit with sorting tables. Gets busy on the weekend. Parking at either end and road access to the shops above by wooden stairs.
