Silkwood Estate

Third time back to Silkwood and it just keeps getting better! Amazing truffle inspired lunch, chef is very talented. the team are also just so friendly and lovely. We had such a good time and can’t wait to come back again!

We had an excellent meal there. Glad to see it open again. Top marks for:- The wines,- Free tastings (smart, as it makes you feel more inclined to spend money),- Aspect,- Food (set menu works well), and- Service. The two men that work there seem to work incredibly hard, particularly the chef.Only some very minor imperfections, being:- I ordered the steak rare but I’d say it was cooked medium-rare. No big deal at all. It was delicious all the same.- The crème brûlée was good, but I’m not sure about the glacé cherries.- I know they’ve just reopened after a long period of being closed, so I’m looking forward to seeing the garden/grounds return to form.

Exceptional food, place, and service! We had such a great lunch and delicious wines today again. (back after 3 years) 4 of us plus the kids were very happy with the meals. We had a 3 course beautiful, very delicious meal (portions were good as well) . Well priced (I prefer to say it was cheap) for a choice of 3 different entrée , 3× main or 3x dessert for $59. The winery looks amazing also. We loved the wide range of wine selection,not just having the most common type of wine but drinking options if you want something different like malbec, champagne, zinfandel ...Thank you for the staff as well for the high-quality job that made our time very so special and enjoyable.

Great experiences for our family celebration, awesome services. One of the cheapest set menu around the South West region. The kids loved their set menu $12 and so did we $59/pp. From the grilled asparagus, sirloin to the cheese platter at the end it was a wow, great presentation.

Silkwood estate exceeded our expectations. We were looking for an adults only, secluded luxury stay. It's a beautiful location very close to Pemberton but far enough to enjoy our privacy. The facilities were very welcoming and very well supplied down to the finest detail. We were enjoying our stay so much we extended our stay twice during our visit there. The correspondence and replies from admin were prompt and accommodating as a result. The silkwood estate is thoroughly recommended.

Started with an informative wine tasting with fantastic staff. Three coarse meals follow that displayed local produce in a beautiful presentation.
