Best Thai in Buderim area by a long way. As a chef and frequent traveller to Thailand, I can genuinely say the flavours are spot on. Only slight negative is the heat is definitely toned down for westerners - green curry is my all time favorite dish and should definitely be spicier! The balance of flavours is just right though, and all the dishes I've tried pack loads of punch, beautifully fragrant.This place is fairly new but should be a lot busier. There are other Thai restaurant in the area that are constantly busy, but they are not a patch on Chuan Chim.

Have dinner on Monday night with my friend. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff, service was fast and food was ok.But the menu is a bit overpriced for the portion, not the best Thai as I tried better ones before already with much more reasonable price.The location of the restaurant is not too hard to find as well, just a bit hidden but was not busy when we came so we did find a spot to park.We have three simple dishes and the bill was $47.70, not too satisfied so not sure if we should come back~

As a Thai person, this is by far the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to in all of Sunshine Coast and Brisbane area. The street food menu is spot on with genuine Thai street food and they don’t hold back on spice. I haven’t seen anywhere else with a menu like theirs. I can’t recommend this place enough, it reminds me of home. I haven’t been able to get street food like that at any other restaurant, although a Thai street dessert menu would be good!If you want genuine authentic Thai food, this is the place to go. They also have westernised Thai food as well if you don’t want the street food.

I have a lot of Thai food in general. I got the pad see ew and asian greens. Unfortunately both were so salty I could barely eat them. Pad see ew was slightly burnt and bitter.

When you see the local Thai & Asian community eating at an eatery, you know this is going to be authentic food. We found this at Chuan Chim. Just like being in Thailand, loved it.

This place is a nice little hidden gem! Hard to see from main road but worth going here. The food is authentic and high quality. Hard to find places that serve good food at a reasonable price. You can either dine in or takeaway. Food came out real quick even though there was a lot of takeaway orders. Would come here again and highly recommend this place. 5 stars!

Chuan Chim Thai Restaurant
Good amount of mushrooms in the dishes with vegetables, food was still tasty after a half hour trip home. Kitchen was well lit and clean, staff were professional. If you are looking for good Thai food in Buderim I would give Chuan Chim a go.
