We reached out to Matt through his FB page for help with our overly protective/aggressive cattle dog. The advice given was invaluable and the results after 1 consult were significant. We are feeling happy and confident that if we follow the recommendations given by Matt that we will continue to see Jaggers behaviour improve. I would highly recommend Matt as his knowledge and understanding of dogs was impressive, he was also very down to earth and direct which was really helpful and made the session extremely productive. Matt you are a magician, you gain the respect and control within the first session. You have empathy and insight into all kinds of dog behaviours. We recently had our first appointment with Matt from Beyond Dogs to help us learn how to better communicate and control our overly excited 16 month old golden retriever, Luna. Matt was absolutely amazing and gave us tips that worked straight away. It's now day 2 after our appointment and I am finally able to walk Luna without her pulling me in all directions. Matt shared with us a detailed report of everything we went through and actions for us to take going forward. Would definitely recommend Matt and will not hesitate to rely on his help again in the future!

What an amazing experience we had with Matt and our dog Butters. In the short span of time we had with Matt Butters dramatically changed and so did we. We learnt so much about how ourselves and Butters. Matt was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, all round, a really great experience.

Matt after one visit has set us on a new path of training for our 5-month-old Groodle Ned. We now have the tools we need and after only 2 days we can see a huge improvement in Ned's manners. We are happy and relieved we contacted Matt. VERY recommended.UPDATE Just had Matt back for second visit. Assessment and more tasks and haven't we made some progress!! Very exited and relieved our puppy is so easy to handle now, all thanks to Matt.

I loved matt's attitude and direct approach in both giving me instructions and my puppy. He was able to get my pups undivided attention without any effort , I was amazed at how well she listened and complied at such a young age, I will definitely be booking matt again for our next stage of training.

Matt made incredible progress with my dog Max, who is aggressive and I have trouble controlling. We got him obeying a number of commands by the end of the session, and Matt’s advice has been invaluable. Matt knows his stuff for sure! (photo not from training day)

Matt from Beyond Dogs has made the biggest difference to our dogs life and our life! With just a few sessions whilst she was a younger and now and older pup, I have been able to develop skills to communicate and educate her. For a high energy dog, her behaviour is great and only getting better…. Now to focus on her new tricks which are making her beyond any dog in my bias opinion.

Matt was extremely helpful with our 20 month old Ridgeback cross, Honey, who can be very reactive to other dogs, people on bikes and foot traffic on walks. With Matts wealth of knowledge, we were left with clear, concise and simple instructions on how to improve our relationship with Honey and continue with her training. Matt was extremely helpful. Cody does not like people he doesnt know he always barks at them. With Matt"s calmness and attitude he didn"t even bark. I have learnt how to handle him better. Would certainly recommend him."
