Chemist Warehouse Crows Nest

I would give zero star for the Customer service that is beyond a joke, I came to return a item that was in perfectly resalable condition with the receipt , within 7 days the guy ask me to go back to the original store that I bought the item from,The customer service personal at the other store told me they should have accepted this return , I am local and I will never return to this store ever again .

Gotta love our medical system. I have an ear infection that became quite noticeable in the evening. I know it’s an ear infection as I used to get them in my swimming days. Rocked up at Chemist Warehouse late to see if they could give me anything. Ideally antibiotic ear drops but got told I need a doctors prescription. In the absence of any other pain relief ear drops (no stock), I got told I can just take Panadol. So now I get to go home and feel my ear canal growing more infected. And tomorrow I can go spend money on a doctors appointment to tell me what I already know. Woohoo!

We were shocked that they refused us basic medical help. My fiancé has diabetes type 1. Due to a pump failure late on Saturday-night, we were rushed to the pharmacy to buy syringes. When called and explain the situation, that we were on the way and would be really grateful of they could allocate some syringes for us, we faced a cold shoulder saying that working hours means they are closed and we had to go to the hospital. We were taking about 5 mins delay for a diabetic person (and just syringes to buy 5 mins after the official business hours!!). We made it on time (with hurdles as always) but the indifference that we experienced shouldn’t be tolerated for a pharmacy. When someone is in need asked for a help, pharmacies shouldn’t be indifferent.

Just emailed through a prescription. Got a call back to clarify somethings and they were super helpful and professional. All was done within an hour.

28/12/2022 3pm. The manager call himself Will is the person who was not willing to sale the prescription medicine to me. Because I only have the copy of the prescription. The original one was kept in his store and I lost the yellow paper he printed. He can easily check the record and sale me the repeats. He said ‘Go and ask your doctor to get you a new prescription! My doctor was on his Christmas holidays! I walked out of the Chemist Warehouse Crows Nest empty handed. If anything happened to my heath, remember this man who has the power to stop my medication!

The pharmacists at Chemist Warehouse are terrible. If there is a problem and you ask them who is responsible i.e. who the Chief Pharmacist on Duty is, they will not give a straight answer (despite there being 4 names on the display, none of the 3 pharmacists present were on that list). I had to go ask the front desk and get a name and this was not on the list either.Essentially my son had a valid script with 2 repeats left, it had been last dispensed 29 days prior and he needed it daily. This month he had gastro and was 1 pill short due to him vomiting it up. We were short 1 pill by 1 day and the script said we had 2 repeats left.The Chemist Warehouse pharmacist said that they couldn't dispense within 30 days and that we needed to contact the specialist doctor (on a Sunday) as that this was the doctor's problem. So we rang from the pharmacy and (of course) the specialist doctor was unavailable.The Chemist Warehouse pharmacists collectively - with full knowledge about the heart attack risks to my son quickly dropping his dose, refused to dispense a valid script and then failed to take any responsibility for that decision by telling us an accurate name of who was in charge.My son could have died of a heart attack that day. This could happen to any family out there and been a tragedy.Please for your own safety avoid this place like the plague and go to any of the smaller pharmacies in Crows Nest.

The girl at the till on 29/12/22 6pm was so rude! Disgraceful, don’t be in customer service if you hate your job so much.

This store is always busy and full of customers. They stock pretty much everything you will need and want in a chemist with really low prices.In peak times the wait time for prescription items can take 10-15 minsis, but they give you a buzzer so you can shop for other items whilst you wait for your medication to be ready.A great mix of brands and items. There is a large variety of fragrances at very competitive prices as well.

This store is kind of a joke. Be careful, their own WEBSITE lists prices lower than they are advertised in store. Be sure to price check everything on the CWH website

It’s not because there’s not enough room to swing a cat - par for the course in these stores. It’s not because no one wants to submit their details for a SMS receipt - a complete waste of time for staff, customers and those behind them in the queue. The 1-star review is because one of the staff has CHRONIC BODY ODOUR. Ironic in a place that’s supposed to be all about health and wellness. I pity this person’s colleagues. Otherwise it’s a passable experience but I’ll be going elsewhere for the time being. The prescription staff do their best, in my experience.
