The Food Centre Inc
Management is unprofessional, doesn't look after its workers, charges too much for Black & Gold products, floors look dirty and old, toilets provided which staff have to use have no hot water. The place is meant to look after community but instead sell lots of high salt foods and high sugar foods. Lacks healthy food.

Previously known as Community Food SA this place is brilliant when you are on a tight budget but can be accessed by anybody. The toiletries, cleaning products & pet food are sold at amazing prices.They are a non profit organisation almost fully staffed by volunteers who provide you with a positive and friendly shopping experience.

Not for profit supermarket, run with donations from larger supermarkets. Everyone is welcome to shop for groceries, lowest prices you have seen and all breads are free of charge. Staff are friendly and helpful. The supermarket also has a cafe and op shop.

Love the zip lock bags. As a couple we can also use bag it comes in to freeze the extra in the bag. Place bag in the container you will reheat in, then remove container when frozen, This helps with defrosting before cooking as it fits perfectly frozen into reheat container.

If you are short on a dollar or even if you aren't. Excellent community store. Thrift, mini mart, free bread, pre packed meal kits and a lovely Cafe. The quality coffee is a nice surprise!
