Marramarra National Park
A secluded pocket of bushland along the Hawkesbury with several trails along the ridge tops. The only downsides are that it's mostly fire trails and the lookouts tend to be dominated by power lines.

Marramarra National Park
I loved this hidden National Park that I had never heard of before. It has a lot of hikes to do and suitable for all levels. There are 5 kilometre to 20 kilometre hikes located here. The only thing i didn’t like were the roads in the park. They have massive holes and when full of water you can really underestimate how deep they are. I would suggest going four wheel drive or all wheel drive in the park. Also a lot of wildlife here. I will be back again more prepared and appreciate it more.

Yet another amazing national Park that is on the (north-western) doorstep of Sydney. Take a walk, grab a mountain bike and go for a ride, pack a tent and hike in to a remote campground. Either way, take some time out and forget that you live in a city of 4million plus people and feel like you are the only person left.

Hot, dry and sandy. Some nice lookouts, but watch out for the ants.
