Thermawood Retrofit Double Glazing Newcastle

Aurelio did a fantastic job in double glazing our federation windows, including reinstating some of the coloured glass panels. He was professional, easy to work with and obviously passionate about what he does. His workmanship was of high quality and the difference in the sound/thermal insulation with the double glazing is noticeable. Would definitely recommend!

Aurelio did a fantastic job retrofitting double-glazing in all our wooden windows. The end result is excellent as appreciated from the pictures. We've noticed an important difference in improving sound and thermal insulation. Aurelio is a conscientious and careful worker, paying attention to the last detail. He provides clear explanations and good solutions to any issue that arises. We highly recommend him and the product.

We retro-fitted double glazing to all the wooden windows and doors in our 30 year old house. The difference is amazing - no more rattles and dust bunnies on a windy day, already a noticeable difference in the inside temperature in the heat. The aim was to improve insulation and heat retention in cooler temperatures and we are now looking forward to a much warmer house next winter. Aurelio was a pleasure to deal with, very professional and hard working and we couldn’t be more pleased with the finished result.

As It only had very thin glazing and was building up so much condensation and cold in that room.When I was first shopping around Aurelio put so much confidence in me. Knowing that it could be done. Aurelio has to be one of the most thoughtful, considerate, professional, attentive, tidy tradespeople we have ever encountered. There was no mess, he took care to work around our sleeping baby, and the end result is fantastic. The windows look lovely, their is no more rattling when it is windy, the outside road noise has been reduced, and best of all there was little waste as we have reused the existing window frames. I would highly recommend this product and the installer. Other tradespeople need to take out a leaf out of your book.

We are very happy with the standard of workmanship provided by Aurelio at Thermawood Newcastle. We live in a old school building and our windows have been restored. The double glazing has made a big difference to minimising the noise level we had been experiencing. Aurelio is a true craftsman.

Aurelio made possible what I thought was impossible: put double glazing into my *existing* timber window frames & for a reasonable price. Great job, done seamlessly, with great results - the house is cooler, and quieter. Just what I wanted. Aurelio is more than a tradesman, he's a craftsman. He took pride in his work. He worked with just one other assisting him. No fuss, he just got on with it. There was really minimal dust or inconvenience while the work went on. I couldn't be happier. I would recommend him and this product to anyone.

Having a federation house with bedrooms on a busy road I am thrilled with the results of my Thermawood double glazed window.It matches the house perfectly and cuts out the road noise at night.The workmanship and reliability of Aurelio is outstanding.

We're really happy with our Thermawood double glazing and noticed a difference straight away. We live in the cold Blue Mountains and we now only need the fire on for a few hours and wake up to a much warmer house.Aurelio took great care with details, giving a neat finish and very effective sealing around all the places where we previously had draughts and he left everything neat and tidy.He didn't leave any windows without glass overnight which was great as the installation happened in winter.Aurelio discussed all the options available and answered all our questions which helped us decide which options to choose.We would thoroughly recommend this product and Aurelio's workmanship.
