GXU Medical Imaging Thornton

When I made my appointment, I requested a male sonographer and the admin staff booked me in to see one their male sonographers. However, when I came in for my appointment, they only had a female available who was quite judgemental towards me about my gender preference. On top of that, my appointment had to be cancelled because no male sonographers were available. I ended up going to another ultrasound clinic for my next appointment where I had a fantastic male sonographer. Overall, they were completely disorganised and I definitely won't be coming back.

The most compassionate, professional and experienced staff I have come across. Everyone from the receptionists at the front desk, to the radiographers and sonographers are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble to them. I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely rude behaviour from the receptionist, must be someone new. The previous receptionist was very polite and accommodating.

Took my Nan with dementia for a scan, the staff were absolutely amazing with her.

Great staff and receptionists that go out of their way to help you. I had an appointment with another scanning place that cancelled on me last minute. I was able to be booked in at GXU on the same day as calling and they were so friendly and helpful throughout the whole experience. Will be using them for all of my scans from now on.

The receptionists were friendly and the clinic has good facilities. However, the sonographer I had felt completely uncomfortable and embarrassed with my procedure. He didn't talk to me at all, and completely rushed the procedure so he could just get it over and done with. I don't understand what his problem was, but I won't be coming back to this clinic.

It is absolutely ridiculous I've had 3 ultrasounds here the only person I would recommend was the second girl the rest were arrogant I got asked when we had the baby 2 weeks ago and we've had a miscarriage which she new cause she was doing the ultrasound on me I'd steer clear of these useless company we definitely won't be going back

Hello this is Aimee , I want to thank Karen ( Receptionist ) for helping me over the phone a few times in the last few months with enquiries about which songraphers were going to be working at PRP Diagnostic Imaging in Adamstown out Troy A and Peter S who always do a wonderful job , Karen has been so helpful and kind she does her work really well and is always polite and caring I kinder wish we could swap her back around to prp as the new Karen that's at adamstown isn't as nice ( sorry ) , We miss the other Karen working here in Newcastle , Thank You for all your great work .
