Nails Avenue

My acrylic set was great however I was charged $20 more than the price listed for getting almond shape and one extra coat? I’ve never had this happen at a salon before and it was a little disappointing given the few ladies who paid before me being charged the set price with the same shape as me, and some even with chrome. Good quality nails but the pricing needs to be transparent.

Absolutely poor work. My friend and myself went today to this nail salon to get acrylic nails done. I wanted a subtle white nails with glitter done. And my friend got some foil on her white nails. The work was horrendous. As you can see from the picture, the nails had no base coating. Looked yellow and dull. The glitter was so less, and you could see through the marks from the previous sanding they do with their mini drill or whatever it is called. The lady who was doing my nails didn't care to cleanup after her sloppy work and just left. Then I had to speak to another lady to get the changes done. This time I was able to get a better look. But not what I was going for initially cos they removed the initial glitter I chose after I asked them why it was so bad and told me they are not doing it anymore. I paid $70. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent service!The staff was kind and professional.I came in for a new set of acrylics including a ombré.They removed my old set, applied a new one and spray painted the ombré!The lady helping me was Amy, Amy was so friendly and we had a lovely chat and her work is amazing!I have been in a few nail salons in Sydney and none of them provided such good expertise/friendliness.Thank you and you will see me soon! :)The pictures of my nails are 1 week after the appointment.

My nails are naturally very short and stubby and lift off the nail bed, causing an upward growth. Amy did an AMAZING job and made natural looking nails that hide that monstrosity so well. 100% recommend!

Went here for nail extensions with sns and they turned out beautifully. I got them removed after 3 weeks due to work but I'm sure they would've lasted longer as they were all still perfectly intact. Friendly service and felt like my nail tech genuinely took time and care with my nails. Would come back!

The owner is the rudest person you would ever meet. She not only increased the price by 20-30% but also demands you to pay cash (dodgy!). When you don’t, she will charge you extra. This is also the only place you will have to pay by the time spent, not by service. Everyone’s nails are different. Every nail technician is different. So to me, it’s not right to charge the customer any extra just because the lovely technician lady spent 5-8 more minutes on fixing my broken nails. The owner also doesn’t value any customer service or client relationship. When someone comes to your business every second week to support your business while they have plenty of other options in the area, you just don’t treat them like a piece of garbage. Not right. I wish all the nail ladies well as most of them are very nice. I also would like the owner to have a serious reflection on herself and the way she runs her business, in particular how she treats her paying clients. What she may not understand is the impact on her business in the long run. If you are a service provider, you need to put your clients first. When you don’t, you may get some little money in the short term, but in the long run, when the words spread about how badly each and one of existing client was treated, you will end up having no business.

Doing a manicure and she was clipping (with a cuticle pusher and cuticle nipper, end up bleeding on my finger. Not even say sorry . Never going back for sure!

For someone that’s had bad experiences at cheap, quick nail salons that just “do the job”, this place was amazing! The staff were so lovely, the work was efficient (I was on a very tight lunch break) and I was so happy with the results! I don’t get manicures often since it’s a once-in-a-while treat, but I’ve already come back for another time and the results are, yet again, incredible. Safe to say this is going to be a regular place to visit!

Since moving to the area roughly 18 months ago, I have visited Avenue Nails every fortnight for either SNS on my hands or a shellac pedicure.I have always felt so comfortable with the staff working there, remembering details of how I like things done, showing me new colours, products etc. I usually see Alicia and she is wonderful. I love my nails!Highly recommend booking an appointment as often very busy.
