Kudos to Carter Reed for helping me decide which piano to buy (without trying to upsell me), and for making the purchase and pickup process so smooth. They have so many pianos in stock in West Melbourne, so you have plenty to choose from. I may be back in a few years to upgrade to something better! Thanks again.

Beware buying music books online for Australian Piano Warehouse through eBay. I purchased a book that was supposed to be delivered within 2 weeks. After not arriving I contacted the store. I was kindly directed to a phone number where I was told my order couldn’t be found. I was then directed to an email address which bounced back as undelivered as it was under repair. A follow up phone call still could not find my order and I was told I would be called by someone to rectify the problem. After not receiving said phone call I gave up the book as lost and ordered another book through another company. That book arrived in 4 days. Coincidentally, the original Australian piano warehouse book came in the same delivery (different package), 3 weeks late and with water marks around the front cover.

Update June 2021: delivered on time and with no issues, thanks APW.UPDATE: with 2 weeks COVID lockdown still no piano but it's not their fault, it's a PANDEMIC, still 5 stars unless something goes wrong with product or deliveryHi all,So far (the piano has not been delivered to us yet) APW has been nothing short of absolutely amazing, so much so that I can confidently say that if you are looking to purchase a piano in Melbourne area and you choose not to go here (at least to have a look once you do your research) you have made a big mistake... Our Sales rep Clinton Cox was knowledgeable, passionate about pianos, extremely polite, very welcoming and warm, the choices of piano on offer is HUGE and the prices appeared competitive.The ambiance of the store was perfect and I cannot recommend them high enough. Now let's hope the delivery and the product itself lives up to the above experience... I will keep you posted. I bought a Kawai digital piano. Being classically trained, I wanted it to feel and sound as authentic as possible. Clint was attentive to my musical needs and took the time to explain & help me find just the right instrument. Bought my first electronic piano here and it's safe to say it's been absolutely amazing. Ken was the representative who helped me pick the right unit and is an incredibly gifted and knowledgeable person who just knows how to make you enjoy the entire process of picking the right unit. 10/10 would recommend. It is our first time Me and my family visit Big Piano shop as we plan to buy for our son who are just recently interest and love playing piano. Honestly selling piano perhaps no different in selling cars but I just amaze with a wonderful consultant Clinton Cox. Really he is good, friendly, smart, polite and love to chat with about anything and of course Piano. Very knowledgable and demostrate to us few piano with different brand,style and of course budget. My family especially my son feel comfortable and Clinton also encourage him to play. When you are just beginner level who donot have much clue about Piano, but Clinton COX are patiently listen to our needs.
