Discovery Science & Technology Centre

In general was great, my 7yo had a great time!DO NOT go on a warm day... there is no A/C and it is one big tin shed... we were melting!!Also it needs much better maintenance and upkeep work... alot of activities were broken or had missing pieces.. and all were very old.Also needs better marketing, it really is a great thing to do with kids if your in bendigo, but we had to really search hard to find out about it...

Definitely worth a visit and revisit.The whole place apparently are operated and maintained by ladies who are friendly, careful (they do walk around to check safety etc.), approachable and knowledgeable.A great diversity of scientific play equipments to test.A fenced off area for toddler to play.Dome cinema for planetarium shows which i think better suited for kids above 10 due to technical information but overall well represented. Scienceshow which is funny and interactive.Insect section and i was lucky to see two stick insects making babies.Some of the toys are also quite unique. Do buy some to support.I reckon this is much better than the Science Museum in Melbourne.

A must visit place in Bendigo for kids entertainment and education. Kids loved it. Special shout out for the science show. Not only kids, i also leaned few facts which i didn't know before.

The staff were incredible there were two men on shift and they made the experience a 10/10 so polite and explained everything perfectly.Was an amazing experience for children and us adults. So much to explore and learn we really enjoyed it. Very thing is well priced and fit for all ages. I would of given it 5 stars but some of the activities where either broken or not working.

Good place to hang out and the kids had a ball. Not really comfortable with having a sharps container on the floor within reach of kids in the parents room though.

My kids love this place and always have fun when we go. The staff are really engaging and put on a great show.

Nice place to educate the kids while they still have fun. It's very hands on so good for younger kids too.Spent about 3 hours here though you could do it in 2 pretty easily.And make sure you do the vertical slide. It's pretty high but after 1 turn you won't care

Absolutely amazed in what was in the discovery centre had some great stuff, all hands on, great to see everyone enjoying themselves, even great to see a sweet presentation and seeing kids involved in some things, very relaxed atmosphere, great work guys

A very educational and fun day out with the Grandchildren. The staff are super friendly and helpful.Harry was an absolute standout. Fantastic with the children on the vertical slide and did an amazing job in the planetarium with an interesting presentation on our spectacular solar system.Harry was very engaged with everyone and was happy to answer any questions. Facilities are exceptionally clean and we were allowed to exit the facility and re-enter with our picnic lunch.Would not hesitate to revisit in future. Thanks to all staff for a very enjoyable and educational 'day out'. The Grandchildren were very enthusiastic when recounting what they had learned throughout the day.Highly recommend.
