Terrible chips. Fish is OK, definitely frozen from the taste.I could probably overlook all that if I didn't have to pay $2 for a tube of store bought tartar sauce. Complete rip-off.Don't even get me started on the price of drinks. Ended up getting a bottle of water next door for $2 each.

Great fish and chip shop located at Hillary's Boat Harbour.The cocktail fish pieces were delicious and the chips were the best I've had for a while. They were crispy and crunchy.We ordered the seafood Basket which came with cocktail fish, chips, prawns, squid rings and a crab stick.The service was quick and efficient. Seating available on the boardwalk to enjoy your meal while overlooking the beach.

Disappointing fish and chips offer topped of by the rude young lady serving on the counter on Saturday evening 19th March. Zero customer service and she gave me the opinion she’d rather be anywhere else instead of working.And they charge for tartare sauce which is a rort. Fish and chips should come with tartare sauce as a given. You should not have to pay extra for it.Chips terrible. The place is very busy and the owners would be making a tidy little profit so not sure why they are scrimping out on the cheapest, worst quality chips they can buy.

I never do bad reviews but yr store last sat I ordered a fish burger.after perusing yr astronomical prices I thought wat the heck can't be that bad.well here's the thing sloppy chips don't turn me on as well as a burger I could have made better myself. admittely it was a Saturday 40' degrees but yr shop and owner should take a serious look at yr cooking methods. whilst I was there two Japanese walked up then shook their heads and walked away.i considered my order a rip off and want my 20$ back yeah right .to the OWNER lift yr game mate people notice!!!

Thee chips were raw, unseasoned, frozen and store bought, as well as portion sizes being quite small for what you pay. Staff were rude on top of all that. Would not recommend as its a complete rip off.

The food tasted good. The fish batter was crispy and the fish was seasoned with just salt and pepper. The fish wasn't dry and was quite moist. The chips were crispy and were lighted salted. Service was a bit slow and it took a while to receive my food.

Over priced, my husband bought a fish burger, had fish, lettuce and Mayo, never again! Chips were ordinary, the food would never buy there again, much better cafes and restaurants to go to.

possibly worst fish and chips shop, Staff were very unhygienic touching their phone and earphones whilst battering the fish and chips. The wait time was pretty shocking too for just ordering some chips and no other customers were around at the time. Food was flavourless.

Ordered a fish burger. Same as photo reviewer posted a year ago - only fish and a pile of lettuce. Asked for grilled fish and told this wasn't an option. Ordered fish burger which was made with grilled fish, go figure. Drink fridge (drinks at shop front, cool room at the back) smells like fish and onions as soon as you open the door. Three bottles of water smelled like fish and my kids noticed without me mentioning it. Chips average.I see previous owner keeps posting new management unable to read or reply to reviews. I think they'd better start. As someone else mentioned, this could be a gold mine due to the location. Poor quality, I won't be back.

Very low quality seafood. Fish was dry and not fresh(tasted frozen) and calamari was processed and tasteless, definitely not fresh. A waste of money and calories.
