Home | Happy Pig Farm | Happy Pig Farm is a self sufficiency farm on the outskirts of Stanthorpe on the Granite Belt in Queensland, Australia. Our accommodation is family friendly and flexible enough to accommodate up to 6 as couples or singles. The self contained holiday unit, which has a private entry and plenty of parking, is part of the 100 year old original farm house. Situated only 3.5 km from Stanthorpe CBD you have the convenience of local cafes, supermarkets, gift shops, swimming pool and gymnasium. Happy Pig Farm is the ideal location for day trips to Girraween National park for mountain climbing or wild flower excursions, or to the numerous wineries for which the region is famous. Stanthorpe is the renowned for its four distinct seasons and cold country winters. This is an excellent opportunity to try our fair dinkum paddock to plate food. We can cater for all meals served in your accommodation or out on the terrace overlooking the farm.

Great experience. The couple that own it are just lovely. And when we got home the bacon we bought was used for dinner....it was amazing! We learned a lot. And the animals were wonderful!

We visited this farm for a day tour and we had a great couple of hours over here.Gail & Paul were very nice. The tour was very informative and you can tell Paul’s passion for the animals (there is piggies of course, sheep, chickens & roosters). He loves and takes care of them.Our kids enjoyed feeding one of the pigs and looking at the little piglets.Please support this business when you visit Stanthorpe :)

Amazing stay!! The accommodation is perfect, cosy, warm, self contained, the hosts are.super helpful and welcoming, our kids loved being a part of the feeding and general goings on in the farmBought some bacon on site and fresh farm eggs which were both delicious,Only had 2 nights but they were both brilliantBeautiful little spot and we'll.worth a visit!!!!

Gail and Paul were fantastic hosts! We loved our amazing home cooked meal and got to help Paul feed the pigs, sheep and horses in the morning while hearing all his great stories! Gail also makes the most amazing sauces to take home with you! A great place to stay, would recommend!
