Vetwest Animal Hospitals Clarkson (Mindarie)

Terrible at communicating and so far have done nothing but waste my time.If they say they will get in contact with you it's a lie. Don't bother emailing them they will just ignore it.I've had two appointments now and am still waiting for a prescription for my cat's thyroid medication. It's been well over a month of back and forth.Edit: issue was resolved quickly after my review was posted, so am changing from 2 stars to 4

5 months ago I acquired a beautiful, naughty liveable kitten. Vetwest have taken care of her since the begin and last week she had a procedure done. Care and recovery great and a little concern 3 days later was alleviated on the spot with a check-up. The staff are wonderful and caring and she has them under her spell.

Thank you so much to all the amazing Vets & Nurse staff who go above and beyond. I have been going to this practise for a very long time, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. We have a 3 year old German Shepherd who has recently had an imbedded grass seed in his leg, and has been in and out the past few weeks. We are lucky enough to have been in the best possible hands & I’m forever grateful to all the girls for all their professionalism, advice, laughs & cuddles for Hunter. You are all amazing, Thank you!♡ xo

It is hard to find the words to express the gratitude I feel for The team at Vet West Mindarie. I’ve had that many extremely amazing experiences with the team through wildlife rescue and my own family, it’s hard to pin point exactly one thing that makes them amazing. But I’ll tell you the story of how I ended up being their customer. My dog had a toe amputated by another vet and after I had huge concerns regarding the pain he was in, two Visits to the vet practice that did the amputation, 6 days of no sleep for anyone and the poor dog having tried to eat his paw off now riddled with infection I decided to get another opinion. I was very unwell and my dog was very unwell. I arrived in tears with my lung infection barley allowing me to converse with the team. I had my dog on his lead I flopped in the chair a mess and unable to help my poor dog I just handed him to a vet nurse and said please help. It was obvious there was a problem with my dog and the amazing nurse Kate took him straight away to the vet and left me to calm myself in the surgery. After some moments the vet came to get me after I received much love and attention from all the staff there. The vet was amazing and was able to confirm the poor dog was in pain and needed help. He was treated with such dignity love and respect and I left to get a good nights sleep and a calm dog who was pain free on plenty of medication. He was in that much pain he needed nerve blockers and sedatives to calm him. Anyway after that o started to take the animals I rescued there and without fail they tried to help every time. Now they are my choice of vet in the area and I love them for all the lives they help every day. And they care for every animals and human that enters their practice. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We have been with vetwest Mindarie/Clarkson since our Chihuahua Biggie was a puppy, and is now 8yrs old.Recently he’s had health issues that even a specialist Vet didn’t help us with.We felt alone and distressed about our dogs health but Dr Sarah and Dr Claire have been helping dramatically and our dogs health has been improving a lot when we thought no one could help. They take the time out of their busy days to talk on the phone to share some guidance and see us in person.They have been extremely flexible to support Biggie, and the Nurses and receptionists have helped with this so much and we are very grateful for the whole team.Every time I walk in the ladies are so lovely and welcoming.Special thanks to Dr Sarah for seeing us consistently and helping us with questions and a plan.

I highly recommend Vet West Mindarie. Lovely people very friendly and caring. We took both our cats in 2020 and 2023. they took sure good care of both of them but unfortunately both their health's were bad and we had to put them to sleep. they tried all they could to save and help both of them. The care and the passion is fantastic xx

My beagle, Jessie, was very unwell after returning from boarding kennels and vets Lauren and Vanessa gave excellent immediate attention and follow-up care. They went out of their way to ensure Jessie got a thorough examination and relevant specialist testing done with no wastage of time. I was very touched that we got a follow-up phone call a few days later to ensure that Jessie was recovering satisfactorily. I wish to thank all staff at Vetwest Clarkson for being so wonderful and genuinely caring.Jessie is now back to her normal mischievous self!

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!Vetwest Mindarie is where my cat was put down without my consent for no good reason.I took my cat in tears to their vets after she was hit by a car and I was told she would survive. I signed for surgery to proceed only after finding out more test results. They did not inform me of any results and instead went ahead with euthanasia after having a quick chat over the phone to my sister. Please please do not leave your pet or any animal at the mercy of vet west.
