Excellent food. It's a pity they only have one table out in the cold. Service was excellent.

Don't let the humble appearances dissuade you! This Indian restaurant offers incredible value. Ordered the Aloo Mattar, Onion Bhaji, and Garlic Naan. Everything was delicious and served quickly.

They don't have eftpos so I couldn't eat here. 0/10

The food was amazing!!! We had Butter Chicken and Beef Akabri and it was so good. It was my parents first time having food from here and they would 100% order again! The staff were so nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend!!

We organised to have Shimla Curry House cater for a staff dinner last Friday Night. Everyone was very happy with the quality and selection of dishes. We are so lucky to have a high quality Indian Restaurant in Kyogle now. Great value for money and delicious range of dishes both Vegetarian and Meat. Thanks so much, I am sure all our staff will be back again.

My wife and I dined here for the first time tonight. The Kyogle place is very casual with dining only outside but under cover. Vikram and Cathy are good hosts and very chatty. They will tailor their food to your tastes if you have special requests which brings me to food. The menu is quite extensive and the helpings are generous compared to the cost. We chose Chicken Tikka, Raita, Lamb Madras, Karahi Beef and Garlic Naan. We really wanted to start with the chicken but it all came out together, thats ok though. We found the chicken although tender and flavoursome was very chunky and just needed a spruce up in the presentation, even a sprinkle of corriander on top would have done it. The Lamb Madras and Beef were excellent and the aroma of spices in the air when they were being cooked let us know that something good was headed our way. My only complaint here was that both the lamb and the beef (although tender) could of been a little more tender which would of really taken these dishes to the next level as the spice balance was very good.The naan bread was a little flat and a bit oily but as explained they could also tailor this to taste as requested, so a bit more crisp and drier if required. Oh, even their plain rice was steamed with cardamon pods and other spices and very interesting.All in all, pretty decent meal and not expensive, we'll be back for sure. Note that I dont believe it is licensed or even BYO and only soft drink cans are available.

I've been here on previous occasions, but this time not so good. The lamb was tender but not so tasty, and the garlic naan was dreadful, very tough and oily.
