The outside of the cottage is beautiful and stunning. The inside is a different story. Not sure when the last time it was cleaned, discarded nicotine patches under the bed, used cakes of soap, open milk cartons, lounge with holes and stuffing coming out covered with cushions. Definitely needs a good clean. Smelt very mustyEdit: as a reply to Maria, I am most certainly not exaggerating or imagining. We do have photos of the cleanliness/condition of the property. And we did not cause any damage at all.We had booked for two nights and had every intention of staying the two nights, but seeing mice in the kitchen and used cakes of soap we could not comfortably say we had confidence the sheets were clean. The fire was a non issue. I was just a little shocked that you don’t permit it to be used.

A lovely stay, with everything you need to be comfy. It was freezing while we were there - the gas fire place and ample heaters warmed the whole house, and electric blankets were welcome too! The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming and nearby if you need her. The little farm is great - ponies, sheep, alpacas, chooks (we were spoiled with daily fresh eggs) and Woody the chubby tabby cat who never left us once he knew he was welcome to join us! Take plenty of carrots and apples and the farm's character residents will love you too! Charming, peaceful, roomy and very well equipped.

Love this place! We stayed here every time we go to the Snowy Mountains. The price are reasonable, absolutely good value for staying with a family, short 5 minutes drive to the town centre, quiet and peaceful farm stay. You'll love the farm animals; chooks, ponies, alpacas, sheep, and they also have 2 lovely cats, Pixie and Woody! Would absolutely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at Woodvale. It had a really relaxing and homely vibe. There were lots of books and games available for us to use, we visited the sheep, horses, llamas and chickens, slept in comfortable beds and have an awesome time. (Just remember to take the insect repellant).

The whole family had a wonderful experience staying at Woodvale. The cottage has a certain charm to it that draws you in and makes you feel as if it were your own home. The animals around the farm were an added positive experience for our two boys who absolutely couldn't get enough of, especially during their morning and afternoon feeds with the cottage's owner Maria, who made us all very welcome indeed, as did resident cats Pixie & Woody. The cottage has everything needed to experience a wonderful stay. All you have to bring is your own food/drinks as just about everything else is provided - even fresh laid eggs for brekkie. After 6 nights, we didn't want to leave this peaceful place yet so close to all necessary amenities which Cooma has to offer. Approximately 3 mins from town, it is just the perfect stay away from the big city hustle.Highly recommended stay. Well done Maria.NB. No commercial agreement was entered into prior or during the writing of this review. It is our honest view of what we experienced.Max & Lynne KrauseSydney NSW

This place is full of surprises. You can be very close to the animals or gazing more than a million stars at night. The house have books to read, toys for your kids to play with and everything you will need. It's home away from home. Love it.
