Augusta Budget Motel
Rooms are smallish and I did see a bug but if your are forced to stay in Port Augusta this is a convenient location and the odds of locals passing by your vehicle in the early hours are pretty slim. If we screw up our drive times again we will come again.

Augusta Budget Motel
Great motel to stop in to after a full day/evening of driving. Was arriving after hours and they made checking in very easy. Rooms are comfortable and have all the basics, fridge/tv/aircon/kettle etc.Bed was comfortable, had a great nights sleep. Very reasonably priced rooms!

On check in i rang the number on the door and was told my room number and that the room was open and key was inside. Lousy customer service, actually NO customer service. Rooms were less than average. The whole place hasn't been updated since it was built in the 80's. Bathroom has a 2cm wide x 60cm long crack in the wall above the window. Paper cups for tea and coffee. I would consider this motel as a backpackers in. A reasonable price would be $80 -$90 dollars a night not $125.

They provide basic, but very clean and comfortable rooms. The bed was better than a 5 star, not kidding. Dog was happy, which says a lot! Great place, not too pricey.

Overall, a good experience. Room was pretty small, but it was very neat and well kept, and the matresses were amazingly comfortable. The bathroom was also very small, but clean. It's a good deal for only $140.

Read the reviews b4 U book this place. Really is that bad and not worth the money. We also had bugs etc but also a lovely art work of old toilet paper bombs on ceiling of bathroom. When we first entered the room we almost were gassed from the smell of mortien. Felt itchy all night. Not good when You have an asthmatic child.

I'm not sure why there are some scathing reviews as I found this motel far exceeded my expectations.The staff were friendly and accommodating. I thought I may have to amend my booking due to being trapped in NSW due to the floods. The staff had no issue in rebooking me whenever I was able to get there. Check in was easy also.The room was spotlessly clean and quite large for the price. Also, great to find somewhere genuinely pet friendly without a massive price tag. At $95 per night it represented great value.Lovely and quiet too. Usually at budget motels you sacrifice service , cleanliness and peace for a cheap price.

Definitely a hard no from us.Cockroaches and other bugs were everywhere.No hot water.Not kids friendly with all the creepy crawlersYou want a budget room with extra room mates then this is the place for you.

Augusta Budget Motel
Excellent room. Decor done extremely well. Great size mirror. Timber look floating floorboards a highlight. Quality artwork above bed. Good distance from main road. 24 hour service. OTR & Hungry Jack's 2 minute walk. Very impressed.
