Mark was absolutely amazing at our wedding on Saturday! He made the day stress free, all music was suited to our event and everything flowed so well having him as our MC. He also provided dry ice for our first dance which looks fantastic in our photos! He also met with us prior to ensure all details were correct and had greta communication with us throughout. Would highly recommend Mark for your special event!

I’m so glad we hired Mark to do the entertainment as DJ, and to MC at my daughter’s wedding in January 2023. He listened to what we wanted, and was the utmost professional. He assisted us with the running order of the night and was easy to work with. Mark was keen to help with any questions we had and even offer advice based on his experience, which we found very helpful. Most importantly, he knows how to fill up the dance floor, getting everyone up and dancing to great music all night long. Mark knew when to speed things up and slow things down, and how to mix things up when needed. He taps into the guests' vibe and selects music that suits. As MC, he also kept the evening’s events flowing smoothly all night and we didn't have to worry about anything. The whole night ran so well because he had his eye on all the details. We couldn’t have asked for more. Everyone had an awesome time and have great memories to keep. He made it lots of fun. I would highly recommend him for your event needs, without hesitation.

Mark was absolutely amazing with the job he did for our wedding reception. Everyone loved the choice of music he played, and he really listened to what we wanted for everyone to dance to. His presentation was wonderful too, right down to asking us what the dress code was and what would we like him to wear. My husband and I cannot recommend Mark more, he made our wedding at Roomba’s in Gisborne perfect and completely stress free. He was more then happy to take song requests from our wedding guests and knows how to set the tone for everyone to have a great night. If you are looking for an amazing MC and DJ look no further. Black Tie Events MC/DJ provided us with an amazing Dj service at our wedding. Mark met with me a few times prior to the wedding as I was very specific in what I wanted. Mark went above and beyond to ensure that he understood exactly how our day was to look like. He was completely thorough in making sure he knew everything he needed to know. The music was incredible and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire evening. As the bridal party entered and were announced at the reception, I had previously planned a special tribute to my father who had passed. Mark used a portion of a song that meant so much to me. This required Marks impeccable timing for it to go right. It was perfect, not a fault, better than I had planned it to be. I knew Mark had it covered the entire night. Music is so important to me so I thank you Mark for providing the ultimate touch to the most important day in my life.

Mark was our DJ and MC for our wedding in October 2022. I would highly recommend him.Before the wedding Mark helped us with our timeline to make sure everything ran smoothly.During the night he really listened to what we wanted played but also played requests from guests which got everyone up and dancing. Mark was an exceptional DJ. When we met with him prior to the night he was so helpful and the way he spoke about music and his extensive career really reassured both myself and my husband. On the night he was wonderful, kept the music going and kept everyone dancing! Had a little bit for everyone, as well as not only taking our guests requests, but our own (I love music and had quite the list!) and we have heard nothing but good things from the guests of our wedding about the music on the night!
