Milton Country Retreat 'The Chocolate Cottages'

Five women staying for five nights, having Champagne, Strawberries & Chocolate, what could there be not to like. Loved the picnic overlooking Pigeon House Mountain, and the Chocolate workshop was such fun. The Hayshed was well equipped for all our needs. The pool refreshing on a warm day. Would recommend it to couples & groups.

GLAMPING :Three of my friends and I spent a wonderful weekend glamping at the Milton Chocolate Retreat. We were greeted by the lovely Cass who showed us to our amazing tents. Spacious and beautifully styled with comfortable beds. We enjoyed the pool facilities and then were treated to the most decadent cocktails by Norman, Cass's husband. We then attended a chocolate experience which involved learning the history of chocolate along with blindfolded taste testing Q & A's and copious amounts of champagne. Loads of fun.The next day we indulged in a delicious high tea with the most amazing home made scones, real cream and jam. Included was a beautifully hand crafted basket filled with chocolates again along with champagne.The cottages do not provide food so it is advisable to either bring your own or go out to nearby Milton or Mollymook.We took along so much food which could be stored in our own little cabin that was fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities.The only advice I would give is that it might be a little tricky driving back at night as from the main road, the road to the cottages is very dark.The only thing we found was that the Retreat really needs a second separate toilet as we had to juggle these visits between 4 women.We thoroughly enjoyed our girls weekend at this fabulous place.Thank you Cass and Norman, you are amazing hosts.

Cute and comfortable

Gorgeous location, stunning views, beautiful accommodation. Friendly & accommodating staff. Informative and fun workshops. Delicious yummy chocolates. Could have stayed longer. Highly recommended. We enjoyed the drunkin donuts workshop!! Fun for the whole Family x
