Gorton Law
This review is written to warn any parties looking to engage this firm for Family Law matters. I will make it clear from the outset I was not her customer but my wife engaged Ms Gorton to represent her in preparing a Seperation Agreement to lodge to the Family Court due to our marriage breakdown. From the outset Gorton Law made a number of Grammatical and factual errors in the Documents preparation, to the point she got my wife's, her client, date of birth wrong. The Document that was prepared by her was so poor it would have been both an embarrassment and waste of time submitting it to the Family Law Court as they would have been unable to sign off on it due to the amount of factual and asset value calculation errors. She was extremely slow with her preparation of Documents and correspondence in general as it would appear she doesn't have a legal Secretary to help prepare Documents. My Solicitor ended up having to take Carriage of the Document's preparation in order to get it lodged in a timely matter and in a Professional format. The net result was unnecessary expense to both my wife and myself. Many reading this review will assume it has been written by a bitter spouse, but everything that I have made reference to is just plain fact. Use her at your own peril.
