I ripped my hiking boots apart, there guys repaired them, I walked around Mont Blanc and the repair didn’t fall apart. Enough said.

Great service at a great price - I cannot recommend the Sturt Street Cobbler more highly. Rather than throw out your favourite, most comfortable shoes, take them her to be repaired!

So helpful coupled with professional work. I’m not from Ballarat, but called in with a pair of leather boots, where the leather had torn away from sole. It was before opening time and he let me in with a smile. Offered to repair boot and post it back. The boot arrived today and the repair is perfect. I cant even tell that it has been repaired. Thank you. I will use again even though I am 200km away.

During the past 20 years I have been extremely happy with the quality of service and workmanship provided by the cobbler on Sturt St. I was so pleased to find he had not retired when I dropped in yesterday with a couple of problems he solved for me with a couple of items that cost very little and some very valuable advice he offered free of charge. When I enquired as to how his business had been impacted by COVID restrictions and was happy to hear he his business has survived in part because of his decision to adapt by making use of technology to take part of his business online. I don't know what I'll do when he retires. I'm sure anyone who has ever been a customer will have received excellent service at a reasonable price, but for anyone in need of a quality cobbler, give him a try. I'm confident you won't be disappointed and , like me, will become a loyal customer.
