Gary is a little pricey but I promise you, in my 30 some years of reenacting various wars you will not find a better prussian mount bar with ribbons and medals. He is a wonderful guy to work with, and is incredibly personable. That, is something you can't really put a price on. Ive Included a couple pictures of the work he did for me.

I very rarely write a negative review, but I think it's important when customers don't know any better.I just had Quarterdeck remount 5 of my replicas as they were a little worn and I was charged $150 for the service. Just to be clear, this was to remount them (or touch them up), not to replace them. No effort was made to re-polish the medals, however, the mounting was done well.The issue is the price. On the Quarterdeck website they quote $30 per medal to be mounted (I was unaware of this till after my purchase). The price should not matter whether it's 1 or 10 medals to be mounted, the difference in labour and material is next to none.This store seems to be good if you are in a bind. Otherwise, please do jump online and compare prices as they are well over charging.

Pretty good. But the price was extra shocking. $300. Maybe should have got a quote from another place? Not sure if there was too much extra work in dismantling 3 already court mounted and add two more? Overall, l was happy with the workmanship but the price came from left field with no explanation about what was involved. Need more customer service skills maybe.

Gary is the best! My British naval uniform came out perfect! It was even even better than I anticipated. The stitching and attention to detail was top notch. The medals were a perfect addition. After a shipping issue, Gary personally called me, to tell me of the issues and did everything in his power to make sure that my shipment came just in time for Halloween! I'll never buy a historic uniform anywhere else.

Gary built both my father and uncles miniature war medals a few years ago. I had another lot done for my younger brothers birthday and now I am doing the same for my older brother. The product is PERFECT. Thrilled to bits and I would recommend Gary’s work to all. Brilliant and so accommodating. Good service and pricing.
