Such a lovely, secluded place to be at. Kinda creepy as its in the middle of a jungle but they have given you all the amenities. A nearby fireplace was great to be around with friends. Mind you, there are no cellular signals.

Stayed here for a couple nights and would definitely come and stay again. In close proximity to walking trails (eg Hidden Gorge, The Terraces etc) and much to look around and see. Need to bring your own on most things.

A nice and cozy place to stay whilst exploring the national park trails.Gas is available for heating and cooking. Which led to everyone staying nice and toasty overnight. On arrival we noticed the gas on the BBQ had been left on though, which may explain a previous reviewer's experience. The kitchen had all necessary plates and cutlery and it also included some old magazines and board games for entertainment.

They cancelled my booking at short notice due to upgrades to the national park. I booked 10/1/2023 to stay 4 nights from 4/5, my card was debited 2/4 for full amount, 14/4 they advised cancellation by which time it was very difficult to find alternative accommodation. Almost ruined our 12 day trip. The email said As part of upgrades being undertaken to Mount Remarkable National Park as part of the Remarkable Southern Flinders Project

Beautiful location. Comfortable cabin, however the important small details are below standard. There was no gas in any of the 4 large gas cylinders when we arrived (it was cold, being June), the kitchen supplies are described as 'fully equipped kitchen' however there wasn't even a single dinner plate, the outdoor BBQ was filthy, the folder of information about the National Park and the walks was out of date and tatty. It's not until you pay your money that you get information about the facility and in the letter co firming your booking is a long list of 'do not'. It is not welcoming and the NP & WS really needs to lift be their game in a BIG way if they want to attract word of mouth recommendations and repeat business. And when you go out on the walks the information boards about the same walk are inconsistent about the distance, the walks are very poorly signposted with hardly any markere.
