Sails Restaurant Noosa
Absolutely beautiful food. All dishes were superb, and their wine list is extensive and the staff very knowledgeable so you can get great pairing suggestions. We did three courses and dessert was worth finding the room for, so make sure you are hungry. The perfect start to our holiday!

came here for our last night in queensland and the food tasted amazing!the serving sizes for a main (the fish) was the same size as my entree which was quite annoying. the waiter also tried to take my half finished food and then took my half finished wine without me noticing, i felt really rushed but apart from that it was a great experience. the sand-crab lasagna was amazing.

Would be 5 as food was excellent and service was good. Only issue was waitress (Asian /Hawaiian) seemed surly. Never smiled? Was very curt. Professional yes… but we Spent $650 when we asked for coffee she said we had to leave as table was rebooked….was never told. Other than that excellent!

Beautiful food. A1 locationWe started with Oysters Naturale. SuperbThen enjoyed Fillet Steak, Wagyu Steak, prawn Linguine. The food was excellent. The wine is extensive with the Dr Loosen sticky recommended. The dessert options were excellent with Chocolate Pavlova a real highlight. The cheese platter was also great.Highly recommended.

Bizarre reseating spoiled the night.Sails is located on the Southern tip of the main beach in Noosa directly overlooking the waves and the sand. This provides an exceptional atmosphere which is paired with an outstanding selection of meals dominated by loco regional seafood. We came back again to enjoy the restaurant after a few years long break. We arrived a few minutes late, were seated promptly and ordered two appetizers and main courses. The sashimi plate was a nice selection of delicious fish and the cauliflower souffle was magical delivery of savory flavors. Our mains were exceptional Mureton bay bugs prepared to perfection. Our waiter was kind, knowledgeable and fast (the kitchen was on the other hand slower than expected to prepare the meals - not a problem for us except this time).Unfortunately, after ordering our desserts, we were told that our time is up at the table and we'd need to go over to the wine bar to finish our sweets. Initially, we considered this, but once walking over to the bar which is located in a windowless large room under the restaurant, we decided to leave. We have been enjoying fine dining for a number of years and never experienced such relocation in any restaurant. We ordered fast and ate fast as always (probably should take longer) and not anytime during our stay were we told about a specific time cutoff.Besides the delicious food, the most important factor at Sails is the venue's special location overlooking the ocean and the direct access to the beach. The wine bar is not the same. I hope the management can avoid such reseating and the overall experience would be 5 star.

The service was good however the food was average. I ordered bug and it was really plain and got no taste!Tried linguini and same for the pasta! Pasta was overcooked and soggy.Shame cos the fish quality was really good!

Amazingly located in the main strip of Noosa with beach front views. This restaurant is one of the more high end price wise, but for the quality of food and it's location - worth it. We were a big group of 10 and elected to have a 3 course menu set for dinner. Food was beautiful! The wagyu beef and king fish entrees were fantastic! For the mains, the eye fillet and the barramundi were great, good flavours and just the right amount of serving. For dessert, the butternut custard was a warm homey dessert, not too sweet, simple yet flavourful. The service was great, friendly and prompt. They also have a good variety of alcohol up to the top range of spirits if that's what you are into. I had a cocktail which was nice and fruity. The atmosphere was great. I think if I get a chance to go back I would book lunch so we can have a nice view of the beach.

Great place, great service, views and food !! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Cocktails need to be a little stronger. Got a Paloma and a gin drink and had to order another shot because we couldn’t taste the alcohol at all!!
