West Croydon & Kilkenny RSL/Community Club

I must confess a bias, as this is my RSL.For a South Australian RSL, it's a vibrant and active club. It's open most days for drinks from 5pm, so an ideal spot to duck into for a cheeky post work beverage, or a cheap spot of food from 5:30 Thursday to Saturday.A bowls club is attached, so if you enjoy the honourable game of lawn bowls I would suggest asking one of the nar staff about joining.As far as events, the committee rotate numerous musical events through the club, targeted mainly for the 50 something crowd, but also family events as well. Definitely a family friendly club, focused on the local community.Not a fancy place, but honest, unpretentious, and welcoming.

Friendly staff, venue good size, dance floor good, events / bands enjoyable, food, good price, but need to provide 'house' white in Casks. Reds were available only.

I have beento a couple of concerts here and have enjoyed it very much including the meals and will be going again on 27th April.

Great venue, friendly staff, cheap drinks and food . . . and top bands. See you there!!

Most relaxing place to get a drink around great people. Kids love the playroom.

Well. I will try to be kind. It's a lovely place that has never quite left the 80s.

We have been going to this RSL on Thursday nights and it’s always been an enjoyable place to visit particularly because we can let the kids run around and they have a great time. The people are nice. The food is nice. We had a band this time and whilst we didn’t mind the music it was way too loud and we couldn’t hear each other. Dampened the experience. Would be good if the band turned their volume down by half. We are not visiting a rock venue.

We enjoyed the food and the entertainment provided by the Lindy Hip Big Band.A great night out.
