HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Absolutely accommodating and very flexible. We were travelling from WA and our van broke down outside BB. Called 30mins before closing. They picked me up from roadside and had me in a neat wee car in no time.As we were unsure when our van would be ready we were texting Harry every couple days to continue our car hire with quick reply and easy payments.Thank you Harry and Team

With shuttle/taxi cost from/to the airport, you spent the same amount of money hiring from Europcar (airport pickup) but with a way better quality car & more time efficient because you don’t have to wait for the shuttle dropping other people.I love to support small business & after reading the google review I thought I give it ago. Unfortunately small business have to put more effort if they want to be appreciated.We were given a very old car probably from 1990s. Apparently nothing else was available even though they were other cars around. No aircon for backseat, manual windows, the car odo meter was 274000km. I don’t understand why this car is allowed for car hiring business.There is a sticker encouraging people to provide google review & win a myer giftcard on the car. Now I know why they have such a high rating on google.I provide some photos so people can make their own judgement.

I booked a 8 seaters Hyundai van for Bday party guests.I asked the business owner Harry few days before renting if it is still fine to go after flood. and he answered No worries.When I arrived the shop in the morning he was fixing his carsand the van seems not really work at all either. He said shortly, That's not for you! And he brought me a different van( image attached). Almost scrapped, Cracked windshield, power jack not working( I need to get a battery pack for charging phones), engine sound weird, sliding doors not working and it opens itself on the motor way, mould sealing, mould under the seat and found mould mushroom coffee cup in the cup holder.I think it is not legal to rent this conditioned car.It was important guests to me and my event ruined. I saw all my guest was shaking when we drive. Stinky seats.But I couldn't cancle the event in the morning.So lucky the engine didn't stop on the way.I know his cars are flooded as my house.He never say sorry nor thanks.He will change things when you get there.He knows you don't have other options.He charge same price for the rubbish cars.You will see or find other shop.Sem

Really impressed with the service! I selected the wrong pick up and drop off location yet Byron Bay Car Hire alerted me as they noticed the mistake before I did. They still made it work easily. Cheaper than the main hire companies and accommodated a toddler and baby seat. I really recommend this company!! Thank you

Harry who helped us with getting the car all the way to dropping off the car - was aces! Friendly and helpful!Car was clean and exceeded my expectations. We got a smaller car which was Easy to drive around Byron.Definitely recommend

Genuinely the best car hire experience ever. Adriadna is super friendly and helpful, and really goes the extra mile. When I left something in the car she even went out of her way to post it back to me. Would give 6* if possible.

This is a great option for me because I flew in to Ballina and wanted to return the car in Byron. The car was at Ballina airport waiting for my arrival. The instructions were very clear on how to collect the car and they were very easy to communicate with via text. The depot was unmanned when I dropped the car, and was an easy walk to Elements, where we were staying. The car was clean and new and in excellent condition. I asked to keep the car for a few additional hours and they were very accommodating. It's weird not having any human contact with the company you are hiring a car from, but it worked out just fine. They do have a no-refund policy.
