One of the best martial arts community I have ever been a part of! The dojo is an excellent facility, the level of honour and respect for others is incredible and you always felt comfortable no matter what stage of karate you are at. My wife and kids love GKR! Definitely for all ages and those wanting to better themselves in karate!

It is a welcoming place to people of all ages. The Senseis really care about you reaching your goals and making it an enjoyable experience at the same time. Penrith Prime is a great new facility, the surround mirrors help you to work on your technique, and the variable lesson times make it convenient for those who work.

I started doing Karate here with my daughter as a good daddy/daughter activity but also to improve my own fitness. Everyone here is so welcoming and there is a great sense of community and belonging to something accepting of everyone no matter your age, skill or fitness level.This has become my daughters favorite activity and there are noticeable changes to my own fitness too. All the Sensei’s are awesome, knowledgeable and take the time to help you reach your goals while also understanding your limits.I recommend anyone give it a go and if you have kids that are interested, consider jumping in and having a go yourself.

I've been training with GKR for many years. I started for the fitness, discipline and general interest in karate, but I've stayed because of the people (who are now more like family) and because it's become an integral part of my life.The new location is awesome! Love the senseis!

The whole team at GKR Karate work so hard with the kids and the adults alike. They really put effort into inspiring and motivating all of the students.We started our daughter with GKR to help build confidence and fitness.Wow what a change! She has embraced the opportunities given her to lead the class. Now she is full of confidence, doing public speaking and now a school prefect.She even got me to join the class at 48 years old. And I couldn't enjoy it more.

Both our children are enjoying their karate so much. It is the best thing we did - not only do they learn karate in such a supportive environment, but they are also learning about respect, focus, commitment, and confidence. Thank you to all the Senseis for all their help and support!

GKR Penrith dojo is awesome.My eldest daughter, Jess, wanted to learn karate and went to try out. We ended up joining together with my youngest daughter and we just can't stay away.It's great for fitness, de-stressing and having lots of laughs. I'm learning a new skill and spending quality time with my two daughters.The Sensei's are very patient, caring and helpful. It feels like one big Karate family.
